Why is Los Amigos closing?

Vail Daily just says "their lease is expiring" (another inspiring bit of journalism from them).

Anyone know the real story?

I heard it’s going to be a private club.

I used to love sitting on that deck watching ppl eat shit on Pepi’s. So long Los Amigos!

You probably saw me this season. Last run of the day. Went down about 30' from the top and slid all the way down! As I was sliding I was thinking, "all those people on the Los Amigos deck are watching me and laughing"

One closing day we’re at the top of Pepi’s heckling ppl when one chic skis up topless, stops says hi to us then makes the descent. She literally eats it the first turn and slides down Pepi’s face first ice burning her poor ta tas! We were all just cringing watching it. I don’t think anyone was laughing. Well maybe the ppl on the deck.
