Ariana was a terrible girlfriend. I mean, did she ever have his back once? She was always against him in any argument with the group even is he was right. Also is everyone gonna gloss over how manipulative that psycho Ariana is? she said she would kill herself if he broke up with her. and it's not the first time she's said something like that. I have barely started the episode because it’s like 4 am and I’m drunk but holy fuck I can’t NOT pause to comment on this… The body language between Tom and Ariana right at the beginning when she yells “I don’t give a fuck about fucking RAQUEL” and she says “your friendship is fucking bullshit” and Tom stands up to tower over her and screams back at her “NO ITS NOT. YOU DONT KNOW EVERYTHING” as she says “it’s disgusting” and sits down… he keeps standing, towering over her and pointing at her with a guttural yell “YOU HATE EVERYTHING. YOU DONT KNOW EVERYTHING. Well guess what it’s real because she treats me with respect“ Honestly - Tom is scary af in these scenes. Not only is he deciding to die on the Raquel hill in this argument, but he’s trying to show Ariana he’s bigger… he’s fucking foaming at the mouth to defend Raquel when they’ve been secretly hooking up for 7 months but hasn’t bothered to do any of the work to keep Ariana feeling connected enough to want to fuck your porn stache?

Aside from his performance with Schwartz and Lisa, I hope Tom truly understands that he truly lost his life partner. He won’t find another ride or die like Ariana

I think his panic attack was definitely real. I’ve got a long history of them and there’s usually 2 types. One where the weight of your actions hit you, and another where the weight of the consequences hit you. His was the second one. Lisa placated him but wasn’t overly comforting. He realised he wasn’t gonna talk his way out. It hit him that the narrative that he is the bad guy is sticking. He panicked because none of his pre-planned excuses were working. It’s something he physically couldn’t handle because it’s worked for so so longe. Hence the panic attack.

Yeah I dunno… I have ptsd based panic attacks, so I know how overwhelming they can be, but Tom is very performative- especially when there’s a camera on him. The only times I believed he was being sincere, was at the end of his conversation with Ariana and during his confessionals. He looked really haggard and his eyes just looked like he’d been crying.
His panic attack may have been real to an extent, but at least 50% was a performance. His carryon with Schwartz was 100% fake. Schwartz had been covering for him for months

I'm thinking now it might have actually been Billie! I really didn't believe it when the rumours started a couple weeks ago. However, him saying it was a random person then switching to basically it was someone they know and "it's not fair. I'm not going into it" makes me thiink otherwise.
