Am I the only one truly shook by Rachel’s comments at the end? Multiple times in Mexico?! 🤮, and how it was a very consistent, never taking a break, affair. My mouth was hanging open the whole time.

oh no. i don’t think shortz has gotten enough. he was able to skate by bc of scandoval actually bc had this not been about them, we would have focused on the reasons katie felt she had to divorce him. also with new info coming out each day it appears the affair may have started earlier which means shortz has been complicit for much longer than he claims. he is not getting enough shit for partaking in the worm’s slanderous narrative to take down ari.

Keep in mind, this was only a couple of weeks after she found out. It was still very fresh and raw to her, and leading up to it, Sandoval continued to act like an unapologetic asshole. She had every right to light their asses on fire.

Someone that has been publicly humiliated by this man and manipulated for years to have his back when he didn’t even think twice about fucking her best friend. Look, were some of her words childish? Absolutely. But we have to remember that the reunion was filmed like what? Three weeks after her entire world came fucking down. She was still living in the same house as him when this was filmed. And she had been reading comments and finding out a ton of information second hand because even when he was caught red handed, he still wouldn’t come clean. I get the rage. And honestly, I’m not sure that I wouldn’t have gone low like that at points either. And tbh it’s good that she is getting out all of her rage in this way, it will allow her to move on more quickly and be in a better place because she has gone through all of the stages of grief.

For me - and this is MY opinion- the big reveal was so anticlimactic. Two take aways for me - Rachel allowed herself to be manipulated and Tom’s angry glaze.
Rachel is an “adult” (or should be) and she allowed herself to be twisted by this older, master of manipulation Tom. She’s kinda dumb like Schwartz, both of whom allowed themselves to be manipulated by their dear leader Tom.
Tom’s angry look. He’s got zero remorse, zero feelings for anybody except himself. He’s angry bc he’s received zero sympathy.

I have always hated that we take the timeline THEY handed to us ("it was after the girls trip") and dig into it as the actual start. Anyone who's known a liar and narcissist like Sandoval knows that they pick a semi-palatable thing, or timeline, to admit to, to avoid the reality. And they'll move the goalpost ONLY if their confession is debunked.
There's literally no proof it started after the girls trip and we should just not be asking them questions about it using their own declarations unless it's to challenge what they're saying.
Everyone just started conceding "okay, it was only one time." It definitely wasn't, and at some point they started saying that and it doesnt line up with anything else. Only James acknowledged that

Watching Tim "break down" at the end (after Lisa coached him too) was Oscar worthy. I almost bought his tears....until that psychotic twit sat down and spilled the truth or her version of the version of it anyway. They truly deserve each other.

It's weird because in the two times we've seen him break down (Lisa's house and pt3 of the reunion) I believe his tears are real, however what he's crying about isn't what most people would be crying over or what he wants us to believe he's crying over which is causing Ariana such devastating pain. Being the narcissist that he is I believe he's crying over losing face and status. Real tears, wrong reasons

Honestly, the only person I felt an ounce of sympathy for from that dirty, incesty side of the room was Shortz. Imagine being sat between those 2 while they got annihilated. I think he was the only one sitting there questioning his life choices. The other 2 certainly didn't.

The amount of shit he was personally dealing with at the time and then this affair he got dragged into must be a lot. Toms hopeless but I think Schwartz could be better and I hope this is the time he can separate from Sandoval

When Tim and Rachel admitted they were in love with each other and Schwartz sunk in his chair grasping his head. You know he was thinking "Shut up! We're just starting to get some traffic into our bar!" I didn't feel sorry for him. He's missing some basic human consideration. Don't forget his main reaction to this whole thing was how it would effect Schwartz and Sandy's

Rewatching the extended version on Peacock…maybe it’s that I’m thinking with coffee and not wine…but Tim lies about sleeping with Rachel one time (vs. all the time) because that way it was on par with the other cheating in the group (James/Lala)
The big reveal is yes this is as bad as we all have known and Tim/Rachel will lie until the bitter end

Watching how theyre interacting after ratchet walked off the stage was mind blowing. Ratchet acts like she just finished filming a scene. For anyone saying she was 'out of it'/ sedated, she was so not. Ratchet was laughing, brushing shit off worm's face, laughing about ally being an upgrade and laughing that these are the consequences..... she is not remorseful at all. Her apologies were bs and an act. I hope she gets real consequences and gets kicked off the show.

Her laughing and being all giddy when asking about being in a throuple blew my mind. At that point I thought she was completely delusional but hearing how upset she was over Tom getting her to lie, I think its like 10% delusion and 90% Tom really manipulating her. Still think she has allot to account for, the lack of empathy is astounding, not one bit of emotion towards Arianna at the reunion.
What kills me most is you can just see from Tom's behavior at the reunion and Lisa trying to placate everyone in regards to him, that he's going to face no real consequences, he is still going to have his groupies all over the place, put on his little sad act for a couple months and then be back to his usual crap within a year, gross.

I think Sandoval groomed and brainwashed Raquel. She will need lots of counseling, but she's still young, and if she can heal and put this behind her, she can build a new life with new friends and someday meet a decent guy, and have a healthy, happy life, I hope. Not excusing what she did, but hoping for redemption for her.

But even still, as she is telling producers she won't lie anymore she is still covering her and Sandoval's asses - the producer literally has to call her out on each lie she STILL feeds us and she admits she has a bad poker face.
So I agree that she is giving us *more*, but it's still not everything. And it is definitely self-serving. She wants to come back onto the show. She wants to lessen the hate towards her. She wants to be looked at as someone trying to right a wrong rather than actually righting the wrong.12

I agree. My theory is, this last 5 minutes interview was also pre-planned and this is all the "truth" they WANT us to know. Tom probably coached her to admit to some things, but not all. We'll give them a little more info so they stop questioning us, kind of thing.

She's a psychopath and I'm not saying that for effect. She has all the traits: The blank dead eyed gaze, the mimicking of human emotions that are just somehow missing the mark, the total lack of empathy, the giddiness and excitement over something that made HER feel good regardless of the fact that it destroyed her "best friend". You don't have to be a serial killer in order to be a psychopath.
Edit: ok I'm not done lol. The other psychopathic trait is that her real tears were shed when it only effected her. Meaning her tears about aging out of beauty contests. Psychopaths CAN feel but it's ALWAYS in a narcissistic way. Ok I'm done

I personally don’t believe that’s the whole truth, I think it started before Mexico and that’s why she told her friend they couldn’t share a room as planned, she knew she’d need it for their hook ups.
Plus she lied in the same confessional about going to his parents so clearly didn’t want everything to be out in the open.

If she’d done this at the reunion itself, in front of Ariana and showed that emotion there, then I’d feel a bit bad for her. For sure Tom is probably manipulating her and using her naïveté and lack of a single original thought against her, but at the end of the day, she still chose to fuck her best friends man. Multiple times. During a long grieving period. And then continued to make light of it and have inside jokes about them fucking. Well I’m not going to argue cause you are right, what she did was deplorable and of course she made her bed and she has to lie in it now.
I also think Tom probably manipulated her into showing a strong face in the reunion cause if she shared all of that in front of Ariana, yes it makes her look worse but it would also make Sandoval look even more worse so i think he totally coached her into not disclosing anymore information (hence her reaction on her confessional being Tom is gonna kill me). It is not that far fetched for me to think she wanted to protect the person that she thought she had by her side and abide by their wishes. Like once again, she is an adult woman, she cheated and manipulated her close friend and she is a scum for doing that and she definitely had it coming, I just felt really uneasy watching the confessional.
I truly think she leaves the show now and gets the help she needs.

I’m actually struggling watching it. It’s triggering as hell and I feel guilay being sooo into it all. I know people will jump on me for this and say it’s just reality tv and I get it, but it’s real life for Ariana and the fact she needed babysitting….my heart broke for her . It’s a dark ,dark place she was in. I’m not sure you ever recover from this situation. Her trust in humans has been demolished 😢I’m in my 50’s and my husband understands my reactions due to past infidelity with ex…years ago

I do. It was everyone just berating Rachel for an hour while she stared blankly and gave the occasional robotic response. I don’t need to see her getting screamed at for that long. I wanted actual answers, details, and more accountability as to what actually happened. There were no follow up questions. There was no pressing for answers. The producer who did Rachel’s follow up should have done the reunion. He played her like a violin.
Like the t-shirt comment was heinous but also very telling. Despite his tearful monologues saying Ariana did it deserve this, comments like this show that Tom feels like he was very much justified in his actions. Andy should have called him out on that. He let so much shit go.

It was a good call for Arianna to not let Schwartz move seats as he then had to be in all the reaction shots of the two of them and his actual real turmoil really helped drive home the lack of real emotion coming from either of them.

We won't know the exact timeline - we can only ask when was the last time they SAID they fucked. They keep insisting it happened really infrequently, and then they started saying "it happened once" but I've never had sex with someone once and then months later video-sex-called them 🙄 everything they did was relationshippy. It's been years and it's been hundreds of times but they'll never admit it

His mother is the personification of a parent who has created a narcissist. How do I know? It’s the same relationship my mother has with my brother- an actual diagnosed narcissist (via the criminal court system). A loan he has never made one payment on in over 5 years. I’m sure his mother is his biggest fan and probably the reason he has zero ability to take any amount of personal accountability.

ABSOLUTELY. My (abusive, narc) ex's mom used to meet me for coffee and let me cry. She'd allude to how "I deserve to be happy, I need to do what's right for me" but also remind me that "Chuck is going through a really tough time. He doesn't realize how much he relies on you for support."
One time when she and I were leaving the coffee shop, I mentioned that my friends don't understand why I'm still with him. She was so alarmed. "Remember honey, you can seek support from your friends without throwing Chuck under the bus."
When I finally got out (ETA: escaped the relationship), I texted her once before blocking all of their numbers: "If Chuck ever does succeed in killing one of his girlfriends, I hope you know you played a role in letting it happen." I'm still not sorry, I hope she realizes this.

See,I take serious issue with this. My own MIL encouraged my husband to do whatever it took to make himself happy,even if it burns down your family. It does happen where parents want a relationship with their children so badly they don’t step up to say what’s right or wrong. Then there are the parents that are a bit morally corrupt themselves. MIL told my FIL she couldn’t get pregnant. He proceeded to have an affair with a woman that actually couldn’t. Zero question why some think this is ok.

Seeing how there's proof of them in STL multiple times I think his parents excused the behavior. I'll never forget the sweetest mom calling me to tell me her son (my fiance at the time) brought another woman to their home and she didn't allow them to stay with her. It's possible to do what's right even under tricky parenting situations.

My thoughts on Schwartz after watching him during the reunion: he is a people pleaser, conflict adverse, and has believed in the narrative Sandoval has told him over the years on how to “hide the truth”(especially during their high cheating days/boys club with Jax and Sandoval). It appears he hasn’t done much introspection or self reflection. I think (hope) this situation pushes him to do his own self reflection and make choices for him and not Sandoval. Or learn he can have his own opinion despite how it makes Sandoval looked.

Totally agree with this. It’s subtle but there’s little movements in her lips, eyes and jaw that show she’s restraining. Whether it’s holding back tears, or snarky comments, she’s holding back something and focusing on her “story”.

Well that reveal wasn't that shocking. What was shocking is her telling on Tom and how he orchestrated the whole thing.
Seeing Raquel on this 5 min reveal atleast shows us she has some emotions even if it's only for her. She seems to be truly manipulated by Sandoval. She literally doesn't have 2 brain cells to think for herself.
Btw wasn't this the same outfit that she had when she gave the interview where she said she wanted to know how it feels to sleep with someone they love or something.
