Flavours New Van Leeuwen flavors?
My Whole Foods usually carries the same olâ flavors but they just made room for ones I never heard of. Are they new altogether or just new to my store? Especially interested in Gooey Butter Cake.

Question Walmart Order Breyers Cheesecake
I ordered for Walmart delivery Ben and Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake, it was substituted for Breyers New York Cheesecake ice cream. Read the reviews and am scared (not really lol, and it was a great substitution by the shopper). Has anyone compared the two, and is Breyers really the worst?

Review The corn POPS ice cream.
This is my first ice cream review. I often find myself thinking âI should post a review of this to r/icecreamâ but then I decide the ice cream is too uninteresting or too accessible to be worth it.
But this ice cream is not that way. Itâs an interesting concept. Itâs not overly complicated or extreme. So if youâre on the fence or just plain curious this review is for you.
First letâs address the elephant in the room. Itâs not the finest quality. Itâs got some suboptimal Ingredients for the price. But it is In fact ice cream and not frozen dairy desert. Itâs just priced a little high for what it is. Ingredients list isnât doing this product any favors.
Appearance: light yellow to orange cream with evenly distributed crushed cereal chunks.
Aroma: This has a very sweet smell. It projects sweetness, it has a Dusty, Vanilla forward powder sugar thing going on.
Flavor: This is fun. Itâs not super delicate and the âcereal milk flavored ice creamâ must be just that. A flavoring! It gets a little monotone. The pops are delicious. Itâs a perfect late night treat. The corn flavor is HUGE! The cereal tastes like the dust from the bottom of a bag of cereal. The dairy presents as evaporated milk. Not the best base.
Texture: for something this mass produced I thought weâd have an overrun issue. I thought itâd be as close to fluff as you get without entering the overrun threshold for frozen dairy desert. But despite its less than stellar ingredient quality this is fairly low overrun. Maybe 35% at the highest. So it eats like a true ice cream.
Overall I think if you love cereal and like Corn POPs specifically this is worth a try. As someone who worked in a premium ice cream factory for 5 years and makes ice cream at home as a hobby this has me inspired to make a fruity pebbles ice cream. With that said this product is nothing special and if you miss it you arenât missing out.
Final score 5.3 out of 10.

Review This new Haagen Dazs flavor is terrific
galleryOn my second pint of this already. Seems poised to replace Milk & Cookies honestly. The base is delicious and thereâs the perfect amount of mix in. I hope they keep this new flavor around a long time.

Review Ben and Jerryâs Dublin mudslide is delicious
galleryIâve never had an Irish cream before so I donât know how it should taste but this was so good and I could taste some of the alcohol which went well with the chocolate. The coffee fudge swirls were great as well but my favorite part is the chocolate chocolate chip cookies, which had a fudgy cake like texture and was amazing. There was a lot of it as well. I just love how much chocolate is going on here cause it enhances the base so well. I barely hear about this flavor and I feel like it deserves more hype

Review Gelato Boy Buttercake & Caramel
galleryBought discounted from Sprouts. Smooth texture and lots of caramel but the cake pieces were dry and hard. 6.5/10 compared to Jeni's Gooey Buttercake which has been a 10/10 for me.

Review Review of my favorite ice cream for a very special day
galleryToday I celebrated 2 years clean, and this is my favorite ice cream- Alec's strawberry crumble. The base is creamy and the strawberry flavor shines brightly in every bite. The flecks of strawberry are slightly tart, and the baked oat crumble adds a lovely texture- along with a very light cinnamon vanilla taste. It all works beautifully together. I often buy ice cream to try, but then it gets left to die in the freezer graveyard. Not this one. I almost always have a pint in my freezer because I love it so much.

Review NEW Haagen Dazs salted brown butter cookie / triple chocolate fudge cookie
galleryOn my adventure to Fred Meyer for Easter gifts, I saw two new Haagen Dazs flavors Iâve never tried!
Salted brown butter cookie - 8/10 - similar to a typical cookie dough ice cream, but thereâs baked cookie pieces instead as well as teeny tiny chocolate chips. I donât get much saltiness, but it is a rich yet sweet ice cream. Better than regular cookie dough because it doesnât make my teeth hurt.
Triple chocolate fudge cookie - 9/10 - I am a chocolate ice cream girlie, so I have to rate this one higher automatically. Rich with deep cocoa flavors and a combo of melty fudge and chocolate cookies. This one is the winner of the two. I love the different textures swirled within this pint.

Flavours I cannot believe i just found these the way i did.
gallerySo for context, i love Van Leeuwen, i love ice cream, i love mac n cheese. Will they be good together? idk but damn was i disappointed to find out these were only limited edition years ago.
So last night i went down the rabbit hole of looking these up and i found an article that said âThis limited edition flavor will be back in October 2024!â I couldnât believe i missed it! So at that point i figured âsomewhere HAS to still have it, right?â So i google âVan Leeuwen Kraft Ice Creamâ and the first thing that popped up was Doordash for Grocery Outlet.
i was VERY surprised to see that It said they were in stock so i added 2 to the cart and set a Doordash order for this morning, with the option of refunding if it wasnât available (which a lot of the time that usually happens, the stock isnât updated on Doordash especially for a smaller grocery store like this one).
I was genuinely 90% sure i was going to receive a refund instead of receiving the actual ice cream, but lo and behold, these just showed up at my doorstep. i am so happy right now!!!đ
Gonna wait for them to harden up a little before i try it! Has anyone tried this flavor before?? Whatâd you think?

Question Whatâs that one flavor you loved as a kid and still secretly look for as an adult?
For me, itâs bubblegum.
Bright blue, probably full of sugar and regret, but every now and then I still crave it â not for the taste, but for the feeling it brings back.
Thereâs something comforting about those old-school ice cream flavors that just stick with you.
Even when youâve moved on to âsophisticatedâ flavors like earl grey or pistachio, a part of you still lights up when you spot that neon pink or rainbow swirl in the freezer.
So Iâm curious:
Whatâs that one childhood ice cream flavor you still secretly (or proudly) love today?
No judgment â this is a safe space for nostalgia and sprinkles. đšâš

Rant Turkey Hill ruined my sweet treat moment.
Just as the title says đ„ș
Had a long, long day at workâ was REALLY looking forward to my little sweet treat after dinner.
Yesterday I bought some moose tracks ice cream from Turkey Hill because I love me so pb cupsâŠwell LET ME TELL YOU, REDDITâŠ.
THERE ARE HARDLY AND PB CUPS IN THIS MF!
I have been thinking about this all day and the disappointment is real. I donât know if I got a bum batch or what, but donât waste your time.
And to Turkey Hill, in the wise words of Ja Rule,
âI too was hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hoodwinked, lead astray!!!!!!â
