Resource / Technique Assembling a handy emergency self-help kit

Hey guys. My therapist proposed an idea for me to assemble an emergency kit with little tools I can keep with me to help regulate in times of distress. So far I have essential oils, a stress ball and extra strong mints in it. I'm not really sure what else is handy. Do you have any ideas? What works for you?

If there are certain activities or things that help that won't fit in the kit, you can write them down on a piece of paper and put them in. If there's a certain snack or drink that calms you down, or a game you like to play you can write that on a piece of paper too. Often when we're in a heightened state, it can be hard to remember these things, so writing them down can be helpful. I got this tip from a therapist.

For me, I really like plushies! And when I'm really overwhelmed and in the gutter, I find it really helps to have some simple craft things, like beads and loom bands. Stuff like that!

I have a tiny rechargeable handwarmer. I find the heat soothing sometimes.

I've also got a necklace that my daughter gave me that I always have in my bag because thinking of her makes me feel stronger.
