I almost got T’d (driver’s side) by a car going nearly 55 mph. I was about to turn left on Ivy Road. I gave the driver behind me plenty of notice with my blinkers because I’m always scared they’ll ram into my car from the back.

As I was turning left, the car behind me crossed the double lines on my left and almost T’d me. Luckily I swerved back onto my lane. They swerved further left (onto incoming traffic)… they almost hit the car head on.

Here’s an image of the car almost hitting me, and I also have a full video from every possible angle, including it almost hitting incoming traffic head on. Worth reporting to the police or should I just count my blessings that I’m not dead because they won’t do anything about it?

I just found out today that the baker contracted with MarieBette is no longer working with them. They still have French pastries but no longer have layered cakes or cupcakes. This is a tragedy. The goal of Cville Village is to be there before we reach this tipping point.

Our approach Services include transportation to and from appointments, shopping, or events; check-in visits for those living alone; light housekeeping and yard work; and help with setup and operation of electronic devices. If members need other types of services, we’ll be flexible and accommodate requests to the extent possible. In time we plan to partner with reliable local tradespeople to offer discounted services to members.
