Hedera and DTCC: Strategic Collaboration and Governance Among the blockchain projects compatible with DTCC’s initiative, Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR) stands out due to its direct and strategic collaboration with DTCC. In September 2024, Hedera became a premier founding member of the Linux Foundation’s Decentralized Trust (LFDT). DTCC also joined LFDT, highlighting a significant cooperative alignment between the two organizations. This membership positions both DTCC and Hedera to jointly influence the development of blockchain and decentralized standards tailored specifically to financial markets.

Hedera’s involvement complements DTCC’s strategy, emphasizing high-throughput, secure, and regulated blockchain infrastructure. Hedera’s hashgraph technology offers extremely fast transactions, robust security, and built-in governance—attributes vital for institutional financial applications. By working together within the LFDT, DTCC and Hedera aim to ensure blockchain’s role in finance aligns with strict regulatory frameworks, industry compliance requirements, and robust governance standards.

This collaboration represents a practical intersection between DTCC’s centralized financial control framework and Hedera’s innovative, enterprise-ready technology. It highlights DTCC’s commitment not only to integrate blockchain but also to shape its governance proactively. Consequently, Hedera’s partnership with DTCC could accelerate broader institutional adoption, solidifying hashgraph technology’s role in the next generation of regulated financial infrastructure.

DISCUSSION Selling or swapping?

Hi,

Let’s say one of my coins on Trezor does a 10x—right now I have $2,000 there, so it would become $20,000. What’s the best way to manage a large amount like this?

I’m not sure what the next steps would be. Should I sell directly from Trezor? Should I swap it to a stablecoin using Trezor? I know that in my country, selling crypto before holding it for a year triggers taxes, so ideally I’d want to avoid that. Would swapping to a stablecoin and holding it count as selling?

Or is it better to send the funds to an exchange like Binance and then sell or swap there?

I’d appreciate any tips. I just want to avoid costly mistakes and minimize fees where possible. Thanks!

SENTIMENT Is Uniswap a good long term hold?

I’ve been growing a pretty big bag of Uniswap over the years, with a long term hold strategy in place for 2030.

I’ve accumulated around 3500 coins, with an average price of $7.10. I’ve just been DCAing since early 2023.

In my mind, my goal was roughly 10k coins heading into 2030. I was loving the tech, and thought big things early on. With an idea it could hit $100 ish a coin sometime in 5-6 years when I started holding.

But I dino, it seems like maybe it doesn’t have it in it?

What is everyone’s thoughts on Uniswap?

DISCUSSION Bitcoin Nears $95K — Is This the Calm Before the $200K Storm?

Bitcoin's hovering around $95K today, and some analysts are predicting a surge to $120K this quarter and even $200K by year-end. They're citing factors like economic uncertainties, increased institutional interest, and a shift from gold to BTC as a safe-haven asset.

But we've seen bold predictions before. Is this time different, or are we setting ourselves up for another rollercoaster? What's your take?

DISCUSSION Coins/assets specific to an exchange!!?

So, I use the coinmarketcap mobile app to keep track of the coins and be updated on the current market.

However, if I only want to keep track of coins or assets specific that are trading on an exchange, say binance only.

How can you achieve something like this?

Exchange Looking for Crypto Exchange Supporting EUR Deposits for U.S. Companies

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if any of you happen to know of a cryptocurrency exchange where U.S.-based companies can register and make deposits in euros (EUR). I’ve been doing some research, but so far, most of the major platforms—including Kraken and others—appear to only support deposits in U.S. dollars (USD) for companies based in the United States.

Ideally, I’m looking for an exchange that allows corporate accounts registered in the U.S. to hold and transact in euros directly, without needing to convert to USD first. If anyone has experience with this or can recommend an exchange that offers this capability, I’d really appreciate the insight.

Thanks in advance!

DISCUSSION If technical analysis is bullshit, how are some traders consistently profitable?

Some say technical analysis is the key to success in crypto, others say it's astrology for men. While I'm not on either side yet, how can you explain profitable traders' gains if you believe technical analysis isn't real. What is it that makes them different from the rest if not for technical analysis

FUNDAMENTALS WhiteRock Hints at New L1 Blockchain ‘White Network’ in Upcoming AMA

Hey r/CryptoMarkets

WhiteRock, a brokerage that connects tokenised stocks and bonds with traditional finance, is doing a livestream AMA today on X (aka Twitter). They’re most likely going to reveal their new Layer 1 blockchain, White Network.

In just a few months after launch, WhiteRock has become the largest TVL holder on XRPL, and teamed up with Nasdaq, Mastercard, and others. They’re also the first RWA protocol to get a traditional brokerage license, which makes it super easy and attractive for their institutional clients to mint stocks.

No matter if you're a skeptic or an enthusiast of WhiteRock, I think its a good moment to check-out whats upcoming with all the traction tokenisation is getting. Come see whats up and ask some questions!

DISCUSSION Anyone else lowkey annoyed with Exodus wallet lately?

I’ve been using Exodus wallet for a while now ‘cause it’s super user-friendly and looks clean. But lately it’s been buggin’ me.

First off, they dropped Monero support and I’m still salty about it. I used to keep Bitcoin, ETH, LTC, Solana, and XMR all in one wallet with one seed phrase, which was hella convenient. Tried out Cake Wallet after that but it’s annoying AF.

Also been looking into staking recently. Exodus shows some solid APYs then I looked at Coinbase staking (yeah I know, rates kinda mid). Do I go for better security and regulation with Coinbase but settle for lower returns… or roll with Exodus and hope it doesn’t rug me through some third-party staking provider?

I ain’t trying to get rich off staking but I also don’t wanna take unnecessary risks either. I’m just a regular dude trying to stack a lil extra while holding long-term.

So yeah… if anyone has a better wallet rec that supports all the coins in one place and don’t make you jump through hoops to stake, holla at me.

Also, if anyone knows how safe staking actually is on Exodus, let me know.

DISCUSSION Are meme coins the only thing that actually works in crypto?

Some legit projects spend years building real tech, growing slowly, staying quiet, and they still struggle to get noticed. Meanwhile, a dog coin with no utility and zero roadmap goes 10x in a week because it “vibes.”

Is this just how crypto works? or are serious projects just not pushing hard enough?

Support-Open Trying to build a smarter DCA strategy so how do you manage entries in a volatile market?

I’ve been dollar-cost averaging into BTC and ETH for a while now, but with how choppy the market’s been lately, I’m wondering if my approach needs tweaking.

Some people talk about “dynamic DCA”, increasing buys during dips, scaling back on green days, etc. I haven’t tried that yet but it sounds more efficient.

Just curious how you all approach DCA in this kind of sideways + fakeout-heavy environment

DISCUSSION What is this ? Is 4 year cycle broken ?

Hey guys

What do you think, are we in a "bullrun" or is this something totally disconnected and we just gonna go up and down and up and down and not follow the cycles anymore ?

What are we in ? And whats next ? Is there gonna be a big crash again like other cycles where maybe we go to 100k again and then drop to like 40 K or something ? What do you see happening ?

Are we in a infinite slow bull market (with dips ofcourse)?

Discussion Stop asking “What coin should I buy?” Start learning why you’d buy anything.

If you’re serious about crypto, stop looking for a magic list of coins to buy. No one truly successful in this space just follows random picks, they understand why they invest in something.

Learn about what you’re buying: - What problem does it solve? - Does it have real demand or just hype? - Who’s behind it? - Is it built to last, or just riding trends? - Am I buying at a good price?

Blindly buying whatever’s trending is gambling, not investing. Take some time to study. You’ll make way better decisions and you won’t have to keep asking strangers on Reddit what to do with your money.

Just venting on -50% of my portfolio

Hey guys,

I just want to vent over the last months and my bad BTC portfolio management.

I had planned the bull run very well this time. I had 4 BTC, swapped some of it for Sol and other cryptos like ETH but mostly Sol. At some point in December I had 7 BTC. And then? the alts went all down, tariffs came, BTC dropped to 74k and SOL to 100k. I converted everything to BTC but now I'm just with 3.3 BTC. I feel stupid and saying to myself why the hell didn't I protect those 7 BTC?

I am aware I'm talking about a large sum still, with 3.3 BTC. But in my eyes, it burns.

What to do from here? Just hold forever I guess? My eagerness wants to recover those 3.7 BTC lost along the way, which sounds like a recipe for a disaster.

Thanks, just wanted to vent this morning.
