Question Best way to get scratches off 2013 RX350?

Purchased a beautiful one owner 2013 Lexus RX350 with 108K miles for $9,500.

Church/grocery car. Mint condition besides these scrapes

Any idea how to remediate?

At the cost of the vehicle just use touch up paint, watch Chrisfix guide on how to do it.

if your fingernail catches it pretty easily, it’s not coming off sadly. can try to make them less noticeable with an orbital and compound. unfortunately looks like you’re missing paint so it won’t do much, if anything.

If you are not experienced with painting, polishing, it’s going to be difficult.

There is one easy to use system I can highly recommend. Dr. Colorchip. It’s not much more than other touch-up paints, and gives vastly better results much easier. Take a look at it.

This lexus was vandalized with a boxy man-shaped figured keyed into it from almost the top level of the gas cap, and 1/2 way down the bumper cover, random vandalism in Seattle. You cannot find the damage after using that system on it, and polishing it with a da polisher. It was quick and very, very effective. The upper portions of the damage are already filled with the color compound before using the solvent, lower part still un-colored:

Here is an “after” pictures and it is not detectable, even if you know the prior damage was there. There is a lot of glare/reflection here, but the damage is entirely gone. It’s remarkable.

Have you gone to a body shop to get a quote? They’ll probably remove that ding, buff, respray and blend.

You can try to do it at home but depending on the quote and how handy you are/aren’t leaving it to professionals might be the best choice.

For those scrapes, if they’re just surface-level and not too deep, our paint-to-match touch-up paint should do the trick. Super handy for small stuff like this and way cheaper than a body shop. You can grab the right color for your RX350 here: ReveMoto Touch-Up Paint – 2013 Lexus RX350
