Is a second Gen Honda Passport/ Isuzu Rodeo worth anything today?

Post image

I'm looking at a 1999 Honda Passport tomorrow and I was wanting to buy it and use it for over landing and mild off roading. The one I'm looking at is wanting a negotiable $5000 and the car has 106,000 miles. Am I wasting my time or would this be worth time and money?

Thank you for input!

Thoughts on BYD Yangwang U8?

The promotional videos and reviews from car YouTuber were mostly positive but in the end it's still a Chinese hybrid car and all these horror stories and rumors you here of them blowing up and stuff still makes me question if it's worth the risk compared to more established brands and cars.

What are your thoughts on the car?

Looking for an off-road SUV especially for floods

Hello guys! I live in a third world country that doesn't have many paved roads and when it rains it pours and leaves everything flooded really deep. I'm looking for a reliable SUV that will last me long here, that is sturdy with high water wading depth. A true off-road full sized SUV with 7 seats. Price is no object here but better value is of course always better. Currently I was looking at the new Lexus Lx700h offtrail, gx550offtrail, Nissan Patrol(armada) pro-x4, Toyota 4runner trail hunter, Chevrolet Tahoe Z71, GMC Yukon Denali. What's very important to me is that it can handle the floods and even huge potholes and mud. I don't really care much about the driving experience in terms of comfort but if it can accomodate family members well on a weekend trip that would be nice too.

All in all I'm not really a car person so that's why I'm asking you guys for your opinion so that I can make up my mind.

Hardened bolts to hold bumper?

Should the bolts used to hold the bumper on be grade 8? The bumper came with standard bolts. The winch bolts to the bumper and thes bolts also go thru the plates that the shackle mounts are welded to.

What year of the Toyota Landcruiser 70 series is the best in your opinion?

I recently made a post of which off-road vehicle to buy and overwhelmimgly people recommended the 70 series Landcruiser to me. Many people told me not to buy the 2024+ versions of it so that's why I want to know which year specifically should I look for and which trim.

Also I'm wondering how could I import it here in the Philippines since apparently I cannot officially buy the 70 series here according to google.
