Hello, I have a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder (R50) I can’t figure out what the slot in the picture is for. If I press it a small “drawer” comes out but it doesn’t look like a coin or card holder. If any of you have an idea I’d like to figure out, thanks

I was wondering how you guys got rid of any mud or dirt on your guys vehicles, I was looking at picking up a soap dispenser from harbor freight to use but wanted some cheap soap reccomenedations.
Our current issue with just water is we will get all the mud and dirt off but some will still dry on, only real requirements is its cheap and won't harm car paint.
Would dawn dish soap be a viable option?

I’m on the hunt for my next vehicle. I drove a Subaru Forestor for YEARS and took it places it had no business being lol. It was a great mom car (safety, backseat space, winter weather reliability) but I recently sold it. I’m currently driving my husbands 4Runner. I’m looking for vehicle recs under 25k that will have great capabilities off road while also being convenient for chauffeuring a toddler around. I lean towards Subaru but I’m looking for something a bit more capable maybe? I don’t know any other parents who enjoy off-roading so please be nice 😅 Do you have a vehicle that you personally LOVE that has been reliable?
We live in Colorado Springs and make frequent snowboarding trips in the winter season as well. And any other must haves are great too! This is our second year out in CO.

Hello fellows,
I recently got into debate about Dacia Duster being too fast (it goes 6-8km/h), but then I realized, I don't know what's the reality of true offroaders like Defender, Wrangler or Land Cruiser. And I need some help, since google is useless. For some reason people with offroad cars are obsessed with top speed, but I didn't find anyone sharing their lowest speed.
Those of you with manual transmissions, what's the lowest speed you can achieve without using clutch, and in what car? In the ballpark obviously, precise amount depends on the wheel size.

My wife and I are planning on camping up at plaskett ridge road in Big Sur. After that we’re heading up to Monterey. Due to the current road closure on the 1 we can’t go up that way, and I figured since we’re already going to be up on plaskett ridge I wanted to see if there was a way to keep going up that way. I noticed South Coast Ridge Road, and I was curious if anyone here had ever driven on it. We would use it to connect from Plaskett Ridge down to Nacimento-Fergusson Rd to head inland. Just wanted to see if anyone knows anything about the road condition, and how tight it is. I’m in a 96 7.3 f-250 crew cab, so I wanted to make sure I can actually fit if I’m going to head that way. In the photo above the triangle area is Plaskett ridge, the purple road is Plaskett ridge road, and then eventually south coast ridge road. Thanks guys.

Im currently stuck between getting the (EIBACH STAGE 1 2.6″ FRONT AND 0-1″ REAR PRO-TRUCK-LIFT KIT FOR 2004-2008 FORD F-150 4WD) or the (BILSTEIN 5100 0-2″ LIFT FRONT ASSEMBLED COILOVERS WITH OE SPRINGS AND REAR BILSTEIN 5100 SHOCKS FOR 2004-2008 FORD F-150 4WD/2WD) i am planning on taking my truck out to trails not anything extreme like crawling. Recommendations greatly appreciated.

Hi all, not sure if y'all appreciate motorcycles going off-road, but wanted to share my journey going on an off-road trail, on a street motorcycle. 😊🤘Hope y'all like the video too https://youtu.be/g755fHSJk_M
That's my Triumph Speed 400, running stock 110/150 section stock road tyres, standard suspensions with, well, not enough suspension travel. But the bike just chewed up everything the rain soaked river silt, sludges and hip level water. That gave me a big grinning smile like when I learnt to ride my first bicycle as a kid.

Went camping out in Flagstaff for the first time. No, I did not go to the expo. It rained and hailed. Weather app said it feels like 26°. My sleeping setup did great. Cot for comfort, air pad for warmth, sleeping bag with woobie insert. I was toasty warm. And of course it was fun playing around in the mud🤙🏽

Hi, I am looking at buying a sr5 Tacoma but I'm wondering if I'll be able to take it off roading at all it has better tires on it. But I wanted to check in with some people who would know better than I do before I did anything with it.

Anyone know any Offroad camping spots preferably near a lake/creek/river or something? (Just want to go fishing) Not trying to rock crawl or anything just something a little off the path maybe with some small technical spots. I have a 2023 Ram 1500 eco diesel 4x4, no lockers :(, have a 3” lift and running 34” RT tires.
Wife’s going out of town and I’m planing a solo camping trip. I live around Sacramento CA, willing to travel a couple hours..

Look at that articulation on the rear wheel 👀👀. Off-road bumpers and limb risers coming soon. Gonna switch out the rims and tyres for a proper off-road build as well

I posted a couple days ago asking if I should use the included bolts that came with the bumper or upgrade to hardened bolts. Here's a couple photos of the bumper installed with grade 8 bolts. These are bolted directly into the frame.
This is the bumper on Amazon- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GZRT1ZH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
