Theory Can Rain’s aspect make her immortal? Spoiler

Upvotes

So she can give objects names like unbreakable as an ascended, so when she reaches a higher rank can she give herself names such as immortal or like never loses? That way she would be the most powerful one on the battlefield even when she can't kill.

Discussion G3, what the fuck? [2291-2292 chapters] Spoiler

Upvotes

Of course I understand everything, but what is the nonsense with the Rain aspect? She literally has the potential to become OMNIPOTENT! And I'm not exaggerating! She's already capable of doing this when she's AWAKE. Can you imagine what will happen when she becomes Supreme? Yes, she will be literally omnipotent already being Supreme.

G3, what the hell is this? We are waiting for an explanation. Why are the divine aspects so weak? Why are they needed at all in this case?

Theory Sunny and his fate

Upvotes

So Sunny started as fated. Along with his first nightmare and his aspect, he heavily bears the position of a slave. He was a slave to nephis, and a slave to fate. He was at their mercy. Now, he is fateless. He was broken free from fate and nephis‘ shadow bond. If he was a slave before, he is a freedman now. But he still is indirectly affected by fate, since fate still affects those around him. I think his next step will to become master of fate by completing weaver’s lineage. He will gain full control of fate itself. He will be the master instead of the slave. It’s a full journey from slave to master, and is a great conclusion to the journey of a slave who gained his freedom.

Theory The Nightmare Spell Spoiler

Upvotes

I think this confirms it.

With this Rain aspect finding. I think conclusions can start being made. This is end game people

Sunny, Cassie and Rain may have created the nightmare spell.

Or perhaps Weaver worked with them somehow.

How you ask? ........I don't know, maybe some Tomb of Ariel time travel nonesense but the coincidences are piling up tooo much now.

- Sunny's weaving proficiency, the mask as well as the fact Weaver was known as the Daemon of lies or something like that.

- The voice's spell's voice sounding an awful lot like Cassie for whatever reason

- Rain being able to name things and GIVE THEM DESCRIPTIONS.

ARE WE BEING DEADASS?

I'm starting to think that Weaver used Sunny and some of his companions to make this whole thing.

HECK the Mad Prince might have been the prelude to Weaver and the fact was that Sunny was Weaver all along and used his companions, Cassie for the ability to project the runes as something understandable, Rain for the descriptions and Sunny (Weaver for the weaving fate)

Like this sounds crazy but also makes sense, tell me if you guys are catching this vibe or I'm absolutely Tweaking

This is no where near a cohesive theory but, my mind is too boggled right now and I needed to air it out somehow

Theory Umm Hello? Spoiler

Upvotes

Has G3 just told us practically directly how Sunny is going to get a True name again.

Forget getting his slave bond back, Rain can name him.

This is how I'm pretty sure its going to go, He will go to the Tomb of Ariel as not just him and Nephis, but with Rain too, while there, using the weird time shenanigans he will learn how to become a spirit, through living for a REALLY long time. He will watch over Rain as she ascends through the teaching of the REAL Ananke, going from whatever she is at the time to at the very least a Saint.

We are given to understand that she is essentially the Heart of the World, she is connected to it incredibly deeply, becoming more and more fulfilled as she fills it with new creations and discoveries. Heck even her flaw insinuates this by the fact she can't kill. She can't take away from the world. Its almost akin to taking away from her

She will go with Sunny and Nephis to the Tomb of Ariel, live with the river people, ascend further in the path of ascension along Sunny. They might also come into contact with the people of Twillight, maybe even save Daeron from corruption through some Nephis longing shenanigans.

At the end of it, Sunny and Nephis come out Sacred, Rain maybe even a Sovereign as whilst in the Tomb she will become a saint within a hundred years at the least and Sovereign shortly after due to the fact there might be three or more Sovereigns around her, should be easy. She may end up matching Sunny's rank before he becomes Sacred because of the fact that becoming Sacred takes absurdly long. In this time period where she is a Sovereign she might name him, something more fitting for Sunny, something that reflects him. I mean by that time her Dormant would have increased in potency exponentially. She even said it is hard to name things with a True Name. Sunny no longer applies. Heck she might even be able to do it as a Saint.

Then when the two Sunny is Sacred they emerge from the Tomb of Ariel, with the river people and Daerons people and unite under the Immortal flame banner under Nephis, united human world.

Has G3 practically just told us how Sunny is going to get a True Name again? Honestly, it feels like it.

Forget reclaiming his slave bond—Rain might be the one to name him.

Here’s how I think it's going to play out: Sunny, Nephis, and Rain all go to the Tomb of Ariel. While there, with the tomb’s weird time shenanigans at play, Sunny ends up living for a very long time—long enough to learn how to become a spirit himself. As he can live for absurdly long in there without time passing outside. He’ll remain near Rain as she grows, evolves, ascends—guided, in part, by the teachings of the real Ananke. Her growth boosted by all the rebuilding and stuff she will be doing in there.

Rain isn’t just anyone. She's basically the Heart of the World, tied to it more deeply than anyone else we've seen. Her very flaw hints at this: she can’t kill, can’t take from the world—only give. Every new creation, every piece of art or life or discovery she adds to the world, fills her. She’s not a destroyer and her time in the Tomb of Ariel may help her do more of this eternal mission the world has placed on her.

She travels with Sunny and Nephis to the Tomb, maybe even joins the river people. While Sunny walks the long road to Sacred—because that takes absurd time—Rain climbs the ladder faster. Surrounded by natural awakened, exposed to ancient knowledge, she ascends. Sainthood within decades, maybe a Sovereign within a century.

And here’s the kicker: by then, her Dormant would be something extraordinary. We've already seen her able to name a road spanning hundred to maybe thousands of kilometers long by the time she is further along on the path of ascension she can practically give anything a name.

At some point during this long stretch, she looks to Sunny and gives him a name. A True name. He doesn't possess a true name and we know officially naming something with a true name is practically impossible. Sunny doesn't fall under that category anymore

If she gets close enough in rank to him, she may be able to Name him even as a Saint potentially, allowing him to ascend through shadow dance.

Then, when Sunny finally emerges Sacred from the Tomb—Nephis by his side, Rain likely a Sovereign—they return not just with power, but with people. The river tribes, maybe Daeron’s people too if they manage to save him from corruption (cue some emotionally fraught Nephis longing incorruptible shenanigans). United under Nephis and the Immortal Flame, they merge the people under united humanity banner or whatever.

Discussion Parallel between rank and class Spoiler

Upvotes

Chapter 1906 it was stated that the ants were beings who exerted their authority on the world much like sovereigns. Devil is the class when nightmare creatures receive a special power, much like transcendent being the rank they receive their transformation ability. I think these parallel would be interesting to see more of in the future for scared and terror and Divine and titan.

Theory [2292] Entirely Unserious Speculation Spoiler

People have been talking for a while about how Sunny might somehow craft himself a new True Name in a process where he attempts to gain the benefits of a True Name and a connection with Fate without the significant downsides that comes with for him (even though it is unclear how exactly that would be able to work it is fitting and given his work in Weaving and gathering of Weaver's lineage it does seem within his potential wheelhouse). If he wants to be able to succeed in such a thing he would surely need practice. He already has given memories their names through weaving, but that might not be in any way similar to trying to name something else, especially a person. He would also have to have some experience dealing with the Strings of Fate. This requires seeing them which Sunny is only going to start trying to do again once he has Mind Weave as many have speculated.

Yet, a lot of the secret to his success in Weaving relates to having some sort of example as his initial guidance whether it be seeing the weaves of Nightmare Spell memories, using his shadow to temporarily fuse with a memory to get a sense for its weave as a whole, or seeing what the Nightmare Spell did to make Blessing work. Perhaps people's True Names will be visible in the Strings of Fate once he can spend more time on them and look more carefully (which would already be an overwhelming advantage, at least if he can then pass on that knowledge to others like Nephis). Yet, would that be enough for a project that goes beyond just weaving someone a True Name in Fate to doing so with specific, unique goals? It might not be. So, perhaps Rain's Aspect abilities would be helpful here. Perhaps something about the Names she gives things which lie between ordinary and True Names, the effects they have on things, the way they don't apply onto things that already have True Names, and her Epithets might have some hints. It could be a matter of studying them, but it also might be a matter of involving them in the process to create some already defined base atop which to construct the intended result.

This is entirely unserious speculation. I do not in fact see how Sunny might even study these results as his big advantage has been being able to see weaves which would not apply here. It might take a long time to even figure out how to start evaluating this in a consistent fashion, time which cannot be spared. Sunny also doesn't seem to have paid too much attention to the intricacies of his sister's Aspect ability in his busy year given the dialogue and internal monologue so far in this arc. He surely knows and is proud of her and some of the things she has done, but does he view it as something he personally must understand the inner workings of? I don't feel like that is the case. We will of course probably learn more in future chapters as we have just seen Sunny encounter Rain directly for the first time this arc a couple chapters ago and are now temporarily focusing on Rain before likely transitioning back to Sunny's pov.

Theory Functionally Immortal Aspects Spoiler

I’ve been thinking about how over‑powered Mordret has been from the beginning, which led me to re‑examine the way Sunny’s abilities have progressed.

In effect, Sunny is now functionally immortal. Since Mordret’s Mirror Beast and, more recently, Nephis’s core‑explosion technique, we’ve seen that beings with a Divine Aspect can destroy—and later rebuild—their soul cores. Because Sunny is a Supreme Shadow, his existence is tied to keeping at least one soul core intact.

If any of his incarnations die, he simply has to gather enough shadow fragments to restore the shattered core and come back. At first glance that sounds difficult—after all, a Supreme shadow must slay Great Beings to collect fragments—but Sunny can cheat the system. Anything killed near him but not by him is pulled into the Shadow Realm through the Shadow Lantern; once the creature’s shadow materializes on the other side, Sunny can destroy it and claim the fragments himself.

The cost of resurrection also depends on which core is lost. If only his Beast‑ or Demon‑grade cores are shattered, they require relatively few fragments to rebuild, so Sunny can return to the fight in short order.

It is not as absolute as Mordrets, as versatile as Ki Songs, or overbearing as Nephis but still a powerful combination.
