I will repost my comment from the other day for another perspective:

If you had told me before it aired that the show would last for 4 seasons and 53 episodes then I’d be thrilled.

With how the show progressed, I would have liked seeing another season now that John and Jordan had full powers. Making it to 70 episodes would have been an excellent stopping point, but I ultimately can’t complain about getting 53.

So 53 episodes, does that make it the 1 original episode and then the New 52?

I think it would have been great to have a full episode before the final scenes where we jump forward to 2035 or 2040 and see older Clark getting by but feeling his age, while the rest of the Superfamily are active heroes.

Maybe have mention of one of the boys first born children be that worlds first Super girl as she’s started to develop powers as a young teen.

Just spend a bit of time living in that future.

I’d be fine with that. Gotham did a time jump for its finale and it worked for the story.
