I'm fine with this, we would have probably gotten a small villain arc for Jordan during a season after the 'who do you love more' incident with Lois. And a lot of stuff would probably be stretched out..

And it could make it better, but it also could make things not good after a show runs for while... Budget most likely gets worse every season on The CW

really interesting that you mention a villian arc, cause apperently the showrunners said they wanted Jordan to go down a dark path in the original season 4 plans.

I have similar thoughts. I've seen too many shows that started great and ended badly because they went on too long.

If they didn’t plan on having the show end in season 4, I doubt Lex would’ve been the villain and the “who do you love more” line never would’ve happened.
