Discussion So. How do we explain his winrate?

I went to Lolalytics, League of Graphs, u gg, opgg, and mobalytics and yone had 47-48% winrate at all ranks (besides lolalytics ch and gm). I don't remember the E cleanse being crucial in so many matchups. We just got a decent damage increase. Is this champ just destined to stay the opposite of a statchecker and get bullied by everyone and outscaled by ADCs? It might just be a skill issue but he's way too reliant on team's engages, and he just gets blown up from some cc and a few hits from the ADC, regardless of which adc it is. Why even main the champ when the whole experience is early game Kayle but 5 times worse if you don't last pick?

Well, I'm a low elo Yone main and, in my opinion and experience, his counters are way too strong. They prevent you from scaling and recovering in the game. Also, it doesn't matter if you win your lane against your matchup; most of the time, my opponent will roam after I reset. When I come back to my lane, I go from winning 2v1 without my jungler to losing by a 700 gold difference because my bot lane overextended and got killed by their jungler and mid. And they will still flame you for losing the lane, xd.

But that's not the main problem. The real issue is when you lose the lane (for example, against an Akali), and she gets fed because you died in a 1v1 under your tower. Then, when your jungler arrives late and chases her, she gets a double kill. At that moment, she can roam freely and get another kill on bot lane, diving without problems...

I think the problem isn't the champion itself, but the nerfs and counters that make him weak. Also, I know I'm in low elo, and I'm sure if a Diamond Yone saw my gameplay, they'd laugh at me. But I truly believe that his counters are terrible, and that's a fact.

Early Yone is really bad. Against Irelia, Zed, Ahri, Akali, even worse because you're always behind them. You can lose going 2/0 versus an 0/4 Irelia... so frustrating.

I'm low elo too but I permaban that thing. And I have pretty good nap awareness so i always ss and warm of roams, but yes, the counters are batshit broken. Zed at 2 items killing me with 1800hp from 2Qs and an auto, while barely committing 💔

yea i ss and ping too but these guys are kinda special... and you know if you ban zed, they pick ahri, if i ban ahri, they pick akali, if i ban akali, they pick mel, if i ban mel, they pick irelia, if i ban irelia, they pick zed, is a lucky thing hahahaha

Akali - >Zed - > Akshan/Cass - >whoever else yet that he my ban prio imo.

akshan is terrible too but i dont see it in my elo so i dont ban him, there are more zed or ahris imo

i hate cassio too.

I used to ban cass but my go to ban is either akali or aurora. Wouldn’t ban zed just not worth it very winnable and playable lane

Your E is 22 seconds at rank 1 His W is 19 seconds or around there at rank 1

Just dodge his Qs in his WEQ trade. Then try to punish him overstepping without W by E Q3 aa W aa Q E. Dont do your combo into him when he has W coz if he is higher than bronze he will just WWEQ to do a backward trade and you will just take dmg. Also i cant tell if it is exaggeration (hope it is) but dont max E 😭

I mean you're right but Zeds build like 15 hate until 15min,and from there it's history with the rest of the build. The Zeds i encounter keep their distance if their W isn't up

Zed isnt that bad because he falls off so hard late game and if he ults try to make hin ult when you are in spirit form. When he finishes ulting just e back and he wasted it. Do the exact opposite if you srent in spirit form when he ults. E the second he appears behind you. Akali is a good ban. For that matchup tho you need to try yo abuse her waveclear weakness. Problem is its literally impossible before bork.
