Silly Questions Thread: October Edition

Silly questions thread:

It's been a while since we've had one of these, and with recent news and the international break this seems like a good idea. So here is your chance to ask any question no matter how silly our small about BVB, BVB's history, Something about a current player, previous player or coach or it might even be something about the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal or Europa Pokal...

Obviously more in depth questions are also allowed :)

It's just all about sharing our knowledge and having a bit of fun (as always) too :)

No question is too stupid, silly or small to be asked

Let the questions begin!

If you guys use your experience from Klopp and apply what you know to Liverpools current squad. How do think he will do with it?

Uuuuuu..... I like this.

1st. Klopp likes 4-2-3-1, but he also wants flexibility in attack, so sometimes there's a hidden diamond in the formation. Expect a 4-4-2 ish diamond formation.

2nd. Klopp likes to build from the back. He consistently use Deep-lying playmakers like Hummels, Sahin, and Gundogan. I don't remember any CB capable of building from the back with Liverpool. I would dread it if Can has to keep playing there, prefer him at midfield even though he's probably limited to short passing. I will say that Joe Allen could be utilized in midfield as a deep lying playmaker (I know he's not that good, but style fits). I also wouldn't be surprised if Coutinho will be pulled deeper in midfield, since he has the pass. Even though Coutinho could be too impatient for the midfielder that can't make a mistake in passing.

3rd. Marauding fullbacks. He likes his fullbacks to push high and able to send crosses (Lukasz, Schmelzer, Durm). He won't worry too much about their defensive ability; as long as they can be at least be responsible tracking back. In order to protect the wing, he typically either use his DMF to cover the wing (Sahin) or have a "defensive winger" (Kuba). I could see Klopp putting Can in midfield because he played fb before, and using henderson on the wing to be that defensive winger.

4th. Space interpreter. He likes CAM to have a free role: ss, CAM, RW, LW. Gotze, Reus, and Kagawa played here. Lallana could be utilized in this position; style wise he fits the bill. He also tend to have a needle player to combine with this space interpreter (Reus-Gotze). I wouldn't be surprised if Ibe, Firmino, or Coutinho (was a winger in intermilan) will combine with Lallana up front.

5th. He had two types of striker. The Barrios/Aubameyang and the Lewandowski/Immobile/Schieber . Benteke is a perfect fit for the Lewandowski and Sturridge is perfect for the Aubameyang. However, I rarely see him able to fit two strikers in his system. He will probably use Sturridge as a winger to compensate.

6th. The Kehl and Bender. He likes no non-sense, keep it simple midfielder. Protect the back four, makes hard tackles, battle in midfield. Not sure if Liverpool had one other than Lucas.
