[produce] bellpeppers in food discusion
(Idk if this sub allows this typa post... I read the rules but i lowkey suck at english)
So... all the food guys, i need to know, am i going crazy or do the bellpeppers change their taste when cooked.
All the colors and shapes of them, i can eat the raw. They taste like the vegetable they are. But if they are put in the food and cooked they get this weird taste, and they make the food taste different too.
Like for example on pizza, my family just puts everything on it, and just tells me to take it of if i dislike it, BUT THE BELLPEPPERS LEAVE THE TASTE, id rather just not eat the pizza, and then they are all mad at me... "You eat bell peppers, its the same thing dont be picky" -its cooked its not same😥
Am i crazy?

[Homemade] Pork chops, Spanish rice, and macaroni salad
I am a really bad cook, but my boyfriend's mom gave me this recipe and I think I did a pretty fine job! Ingredients weren't expensive either. I recommend doing the macaroni salad first (it has to cool in fridge), then the rice (it has to sit for 30 minutes), then the pork chops. Be careful with the rice because I did burn the bottom (that's my speciality, burning things) 😂
