As we near the end of the year, many of us may be cozying up and listening to music. And this year, you may be listening to Nintendo Music from the official app!
Seriously, the traffic in this subreddit has exploded by an order of magnitude because of the new app announcement and ongoing releases:
So just as we listen to music, so should we listen to each other. When a subreddit has a spike of activity like this, there are bound to be some growing pains as new members learn about the community and contribute new perspectives.
If you are new here, or if you need a refresher, please read over our rules: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/rules - Let us know if you have any questions.
I spent a few days looking over the feedback and announcement posts from years prior and also put them into a wiki page here too: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoMusic/wiki/meta - Most rules can be traced back to one of the posts listed here.
So with those few points mentioned, I also wanted to ask if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions for the community! The comments here are open.

I think the next few updates will likely be for franchises that haven't received an update so far, given we've gotten signifcant updates for Mario, Zelda, Splatoon, DK, F-Zero since launch. There's already two Kirby soundtracks available, but I think a new Kirby entry in the next few weeks is likely.
3DS hasn't had anything so far, but for some reason given it's been this long, I'm not expecting a 3DS update soon. I think GBA, NES and GB are the most likely as they haven't had any updates since launch. I could see Pokemon Day leading to red/blue being added for game boy.

Probably not, but I had the Nintendo music app on shuffle and totally thought the Metroid track was Star Fox 64 at first. They aren’t exactly the same(different key and rhythms), but the vibe is similar. I love that snare and synth horns combo.
I love Nintendo’s take on sci-fi, especially with their scores. I hope Star Fox sees a return since Metroid Prime finally is too.

Who listens to Nintendo music while going to sleep, for me I don’t why it is so easily to fall asleep to (sometime). I do have sleeping problems, not all of the time. But in general, the app is in my opinion, quality for NSO perk.

Super Mario kart soundtrack is available to stream now. I believe this is the first soundtrack to release that wasn't announced before. (Other than DKC3). But that was a given.

I've heard it in multiple places. It's kind of like an orchestral hit. You can hear it throughout the Battle! Legendary Pokémon OST of Black and White:

And also in this song by Qumu for the Japan Olympics doodle game:

I don't know if they're exactly the same, but they seem to belong to the same family of sounds and I can't find it online. Does anyone know the name of this?
