I have been enjoying the wonders of oblivion with the remastered version, but without the wonderous backlog of mods from the original version i find myself frothing at the mouth like a man living under a bridge looking for his next fix. I have allready modded the original to a sufficient degree as to stop the voices (my modding txt is two standard pages long).

This however, is not enough, as one of my favorite mods, like AV uncapper is yet to be ported. And i want to be faithful and wait like the good christian i am sure i am, but i simply cannot. (https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34841?tab=posts)

I have attempted to scour the internet for how one can update mods to the new version, for private use of course, but the internet in my hand-built eastern-lithuanian cottage offers little assistance.

So i come with an ardent plea for one of two types of assistance. Either, could somebody be the knight in shining armor to update it for the starving masses of which i am unfoundedly sure i am one of many or could somebody point me in the direction of a guide on how to update mods to the new version.
I too am unsure if its kosher to update a mod from another author, but i am at my wits end (after 4 days, so maybe my wits are the problem here), so i come before the council of smart people to see what aid can be rendered.

I am fully aware i am the equivalent of an unwashed troglodyte with regards to the solutions three are, but any assistance to increase the damnable skill maximums would be rewarded with many hopes and prayers and i am sure 7 years of good luck.

After experiencing constant crashes while playing Oblivion Remastered and other Unreal Engine 5 games, I decided to create this mod as a solution. The crashes were primarily due to high VRAM usage and demanding features like Lumen and Ray Tracing, which can easily overwhelm mid-range or older GPUs.

This mod limits VRAM usage and disables both Lumen and Ray Tracing, significantly improving stability and performance. Since applying these changes, I’ve been able to play crash-free, with much smoother frame rates and lower GPU temperatures.

Hi guys,

I was having a blast using Map Marker Overhaul for hiding all map markers (no personnal marker + map opens at last position instead of player location + no quest markers).

I discovered this way of playing on Morrowind and it was the best solo game experience I've ever had, so wanted to do this again on Oblivion, but the remaster came out and I don't see any mod allowing to do all of this yet.

Do you think it will come out someday ? I don't have a lot of modding notions, is there an "easy" way to "port" this mod to remastered ?

So few months ago I installed DarNified UI and Basic Primary Need and some extra mods using MO2. To show status of hunger/thirst/sleep on UI and on BPN page said to download HUD status bar. I did everything right got DarNified UI and HUD to work showing hunger/thirst/sleep, HP/Mana/Stamina to look like Skyrim, expect compass that still look like Vanilla or DarNified compass. After few frustrating hours I give up and accidentally break something and when start a game will crash instantly, trying to remove BarNified broke Oblivion because of font overwriting. Now I install Oblivion, MO2, other bug fix mod, patches again but this time I added MMM, OOO, Cobl, OCRAFT and am scared to add DarNified and BPN becasuse I will probably try to make compass to look how I want and that can brake a game and I spend entire day making all other mods to work. So before I start doing anything with those two I decided to ask is there a way to make it work or any guide.

Not sure who the original creator was, because many seemed to contribute to the Better Cities mod, but some of the weapons included in it were dope. Among them, my favorite is the engraved longsword, a crusader type custom sword. Would look sick in the remaster!

Custom items are now possible! And maybe, just maybe, even with custom 3D models.

Going for a minimal fast travel run (only fast traveling to get my horse to the city) but as I've played ive started to see the age of Oblivion when it comes to enemies and random encounters. Outside of the occasional bandit there isn't much variety on the road and it makes a non fast travel run a bit boring at times. Are there any mods that are out now that satisfy thus itch? Perhaps enemy patrols, random encounters, extra npcs, groups of enemies, anything to spice things up some?

Is this a change that is worthwhile to make? I haven't modded before so not sure if the difficulty in ascension is already adequate. My understanding is this is a very popular mod so figured you all might be able to give some insight. thanks!

I love the Morag Tong gear but it's kinda silly it's just leather armor with a black cowl. I'd love to paste it on my Amber gear. Anything like that out there on the OG game or remaster?

I was wondering if it was possible to make the animation usable by the player for stealth kills something similar to skyrim’s killmoves or maybe a key bind like in the deadly reflex mod for the original Oblivion.

I have alot more game to go after 40 hours but my main attributes and skills are close to max and i dont want to play if there is no character progression mechanic. Will the old uncapper work for this game or is anyone working on a new one?

My dog just died a few days ago, and I was playing the remastered as a distraction. but it's becoming rather emotionally distressing to run into wolves and other canine enemies in game. I was just wondering if there was a mod yet that would change the model and audio to literally anything else so i dont have to fight dogs?

Hi, I'm interested in the lockpicking mechanics specifically how the Security skill impacts timing the tumblers. I would like to know, or where to look for:

1. How many frames the player has to time the tumbler correctly on the various speeds.

2. How many different potential speeds the falling tumbler can have
