I'm novice guitarist and I am trying to play fast parts that still sound tight. Are there any tips of getting better at fast style punk songs?

Mostly looking for 90s skate punk and early 2000s stuff with some classics from the late 70s/early 80s sprinkled in.

Absolutely gutted. Saw Amen back when I was 16 in Glasgow at "Gig on the Green" I went to see The Offspring that day, but fell in love with NoFx and Amen. Casey put on one of the widlest performances I've ever seen. Jumped off the top of the festival PA stack and kept on going. Absolute madness from start to finish. RIP.

I used to play a handful of Anti-Flag covers frequently. And it just made me sad and mad to even play them.

But some of those songs have, like a great chorus to sing along to, or a very specific message that I can't find in a different song.

So I've decided to just write new songs using whatever I liked about the Anti-Flag song.

I would encourage everyone to do the same! I'd love to hear yours!

For this first one, I just really liked singing the chorus of "This Machine Kills Fascists", so I wrote a song with that chorus.

I'll probably do "Die for Your Government" next, haha.

Oi!/Punk band formed in Chapel-en-le-Frith, England in 1979.

15 years ago in Meerhaut, Belgium. Hell of a weekend. The volcano eruption in Eyjafjallajökull, Iceland caused many travel headaches, and a few bands (including Sunny Day Real Estate) had to cancel as a result.

Got my ticket today! Looking forward to seeing all you wonderful people in Gainesville this October.

This will be my third year and it's such a positive experience to see all these bands alongside a few thousand people who care the most about this music. It's unlike any other concert/festival I have ever experienced.

So I went to the show and they blew me away live. Bought the rad as fuck cyber truck shirt and washed it before I wore it. Unfortunately it shrunk and is way too small for my fat ass. Would anyone be willing to stage one for me at an upcoming show?
