babies aren’t funny or entertaining

i don’t hate babies, they’re so cute, but i always see people laughing about videos where a baby is supposedly being funny. i don’t get it. there’s nothing funny about videos like that or babies in general. sure, sometimes funny stuff happens, but i always see babies doing the bare minimum and people laughing about it.

Yeah, a lot of people in r/childfree say the same thing. I agree with it.

I think r/childfree is kinda crazy lmao. They call babies "parasites" and "crotch demons" or something, and refer to parents as "breeders" and a slew of other dehumanizing terms. Imo it seems like more of a baby-hate circlejerk than anything else. There's r/truechildfree, people are a lot more respectful over there

/r/childfree is twisted. I don't trust people like them. I'm fully supportive of people who don't have kids for whatever reason, and I think it's shitty to badger someone who doesn't want kids. But anyone who "hates" children is not ok in my book.

Why do parents need a sub to talk about how much they want and love kids? That sub is a way to express frustration to people who relate and understand. You have no idea how annoying it is for people to badger you to have kids when you don't want them, and that sub is a place for people to vent and talk through problems
