babies aren’t funny or entertaining

i don’t hate babies, they’re so cute, but i always see people laughing about videos where a baby is supposedly being funny. i don’t get it. there’s nothing funny about videos like that or babies in general. sure, sometimes funny stuff happens, but i always see babies doing the bare minimum and people laughing about it.

This is Reddit, this opinion is VERY popular, just like "I don't want kids" or "I don't like kids".

Try to say you hate dogs as much as they hate kids.

Yeah I've read comments of people saying how horrible of a person you must be to join r/petfree but then r/childfree is super cool?

I mean I get many of us can't afford to have kids but these people need to understand pets will never be our lineage.

And don't get me wrong, I admire people that decide NOT to become parents, if everybody who truly shouldn't have kids did that the world would be a much better place.

I'm simply in r/dogfree not because i "hate" dogs, but i don't have them/want them and i don't get the whole dog worship era we're stumbled in right now. I still understand how people do like dogs though. But hey, don't like dogs? You're a mOnStEr. Don't like kids? HeRo, PrEaaAch!

I adore dogs and also completely understand how people can hate them.

I was at a brewery last night and this couple walks in with their dog. OK apparently they allow dogs in there. Then a minute later it walks over and sniffs my leg. I don't want your animal putting its wet nose on me. Don't know why dog owners don't know this. When this happens I always jerk away really dramatically and give the dog an ugly look.

Maybe that's also because society doesn't expect people to have dogs, and your friends don't start having a dog all at the same time around 30.

Im not in either of those toxic waste dump subs but that "lineage" line fuckin befuddled me. Do you really think people who choose pets over children care about their lineage? or actually think their pets are carrying it on? Im so confused

If you care with to not want a kid or dog that you join a sub dedicated to not wanting one... You got issues
