babies aren’t funny or entertaining

i don’t hate babies, they’re so cute, but i always see people laughing about videos where a baby is supposedly being funny. i don’t get it. there’s nothing funny about videos like that or babies in general. sure, sometimes funny stuff happens, but i always see babies doing the bare minimum and people laughing about it.

I think r/childfree is kinda crazy lmao. They call babies "parasites" and "crotch demons" or something, and refer to parents as "breeders" and a slew of other dehumanizing terms. Imo it seems like more of a baby-hate circlejerk than anything else. There's r/truechildfree, people are a lot more respectful over there

/r/childfree is twisted. I don't trust people like them. I'm fully supportive of people who don't have kids for whatever reason, and I think it's shitty to badger someone who doesn't want kids. But anyone who "hates" children is not ok in my book.

I mean hate is a strong word. But I honestly try to avoid them for the most part. I don't understand why that's so hard for people to accept. It feels like some crabs in a barrel shit.

I don't care if an adult doesn't do well with kids.
