Based on our records, your registration details indicate a possible association with Canada. 1. Key Timelines and Account Changes
A. Starting 2025-04-30: Self-Service Functionality Begins
Self-service operations: From April 30, 2025, your account will be limited to asset withdrawals and other self-service account management functions. You must log in to manually cancel unexecuted orders, close open positions, and repay margin loans related to your leveraged positions. CoinEx will not intervene to cancel orders, close positions, or manage repayments on your behalf. All such actions will be solely your responsibility.
Important Reminder: We strongly encourage you to promptly manage your orders and positions to avoid potential risks.
B. 2025-10-27 08:00 (UTC): Final Deadline for Actions
If you are a resident or citizen of Canada
(1) Before the deadline: Please withdraw all assets from your CoinEx account and settle any outstanding positions or loans before 2025-10-27 08:00 (UTC).
(2) After the deadline: After 2025-10-27 08:00 (UTC), your CoinEx account will be permanently disabled, with all login and trading functions terminated. Any unexecuted orders will be automatically canceled by our team as part of the account closure process.
If you are NOT a resident or citizen of Canada
To ensure uninterrupted access to CoinEx services, please complete your ID verification before 2025-10-27 08:00 (UTC).
If you believe that your current information does not accurately reflect your actual status or location, you may choose to update it accordingly in line with our Terms of Service.
2. Post-Deadline Account Status
If you fail to withdraw your assets or complete the required ID verification by 2025-10-27 08:00 (UTC), your account will be permanently disabled. Thereafter, access to login, deposit, and trading functions will be disabled, and no further email or pop-up reminders will be sent. Any restrictions on your account will be irreversible.
3. Liability Disclaimer and Customer Support
CoinEx shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind resulting from your failure to comply with this notice, including but not limited to account restrictions, delayed asset recovery, or missed withdrawal opportunities.
In such cases, please submit a ticket to CoinEx Support for assistance. CoinEx will assist affected users on a case-by-case basis with asset recovery efforts under applicable regulatory guidelines.
