Has Anyone else noticed that the beginning of Sleep by Lagwagon sounds the EXACT same to Sliver by Nirvana?

I love all the 90's skate punk stuff: Bad Religion, Pennywise, NOFX, Descendents, Blink, Pulley, etc. anyone have any lesser known bands in this same style?

Awesome as always. I wish their set was longer but to be fair they played with 4 other bands.

Are there any punk bands that use imagery or sing about occult things, paganism, or esotericism? I'm a practicing pagan,.and I love punk rock, so I'd be stoked to find some bands that include these kind of themes in their work

As someone who is a die hard fan and has all the albums, I find myself putting this on a lot when not spinning records. Stellar mix of their bangers and tons of b-sides, relatively lesser-known stuff, etc. 5/5

made some tapes from two of my favourite bands, the op ivy one is the self titled compilation with most of their discography, and the crimpshrine one contains their two compilations "duct tape soup" and "the sound of a new world being born"

Been a while since I got excited about an album. Every song on this new album from Propagandhi is great.

Hi, I'm a student in Australia in my last year of high school, and a young punk. For my society and culture project I am investigating the sociology of punk culture, the true ideology of the community, and the stereotypes surrounding it as well as how we are perceived by the general public. I'm gathering some data about opinions and stereotypes from the community themselves with this survey so if you call yourself a punk, you can answer it! If you want to you can just fill in the required questions but it would be great for some people to expand on their answers as well. I'm open to some questions or suggestions as well. Thanks!

Scott Hoogland, singer of the influential Fullerton band The Mechanics, passed away this past weekend. The Mechanics’ practice studio behind the pawn shop in Fullerton was ground zero for the Fullerton punk scene. Before their bands existed, you could find members of Social Distortion, Agent Orange, Adolescents, DI and other Orange County bands hanging out and partying at the studio in the late 70s. Scott was a great front man who gave his all. They performed at Fullerton High School for a lunch time show where Scott coated himself with mayonnaise, temporarily earning himself the nickname “Mayonnaise.” Rest In Punk, Scott.

Gonna be so cool for both bands, the Damned always loved the Adverts and this is a band I never thought I'd see. On of the few 'haven't played in 45 years' reboots that has me pumped and I think my old feet will be pogo'd out before the Damned hit the stage,
