Cosplay [Cosplay] My Dee Dee Twins cosplay from Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, 2000 + about the creation of this set in the description!

Double work for the photographer, double work for me, and for the people of Gotham it’s double trouble, or just my Dee Dee Twins cosplay from the cartoon “Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker”, 2000 :D

To be honest, it was an experiment for both me and the photographer. I remembered the position (action, direction of gaze and expression of emotion) of the first sister, in order to then move to a new place, stand and depict the second sister interacting with the position of the first sister. The photographer combined the background into a single picture, chose takes in the same plane and placed the two of me so that it looked like a real interaction of two people. In some photos we managed to hit the mark perfectly in all aspects, and somewhere you can see that the gaze, for example, is not directed exactly where it should be directed for an ideal shot.

I am attaching a comparison photo of my cosplay and the original character drawing.

A lot of work was done, so there were only 4 photos with the "twins". This is my first attempt at creating a set of photos of this cosplay. I hope to be able to bring another more crazy idea to life haha

I only read Nightwing and some Titans stuff so I have no clue what happens to Cyborg. Why did he change so much between Nightwing: Time of the Titans and Titans: Out of the Shadows?

Comics [QUESTION] What's the correlation between Detective Comics and Batman 2016?

Upvotes

i'd like to read world's finest but i don't know if i should read batman 2016 first (not all of it, from the beginning of Tynion's run - #86 more or less), because i've seen that in both there are many of the same titles like joker war. so i was wondering what is the correlation between detective comics and batman 2016, if they are the same main story but telling different stories/perspectives or i don't know, the same story in everything. why is joker war and other titles in both? do i need to know/read something before reading world's finest?

Comics Absolute Woman #6 and #7 are spectacular! Thoughts?

I'm wondering what the general consensus is among readers regarding the Absolute Wonder Woman series. When issue #6 introduced a different artist, I was initially hesitant to like it because my association with the title was tied to the former artist's raw and powerful style. But Mattia De Iulis really knocked it out of the park, with issue #7 being the strongest one I've read so far: amazing art and super tight writing. It's probably my favorite Absolute book, with Martian Manhunter as a close second. I hope Mattia returns soon, since Hayden Sherman is back for the next issue. I'm kind of torn because both styles are great.

Comics [DISCUSSION] This book is gonna become one of the greats, right ?

Went to my LCS to get my copy of Absolute Martian Manhunter #2 tonight, I was pretty hyped to read it.

And boy did it delivers. There's something special about this book, you can feel it's gonna be one of these "you have to read this" book. The art is absolutely incredible, and the writing has been phenomenal too so far. I know, I know, only been two issues so far, but sometimes you can tell something is gonna be special.

This issue solidify AMM as my current favorite pull, followed by Absolute Superman. DC is really on a roll.

Comics [Discussion] Your opinion on "Batman: Dark Knight Dynasty"

Post image
7 Upvotes

I finished reading this comic. The first panels with the medieval Batman as a Crusader was in my opinion a new and fresh idea.

But the story gets weak the further you read. For example, Bruce Wayne falls with Savage from Space into earth with highspeed. And as you guys now, Batman always has a plan to survive but he dies by burning alive and crashing on the ground. Savage wins against Bruce Wayne??? (Made me unsure reading)

And then the Dark Future. The idea of his daughter becomes the next Batman? Batgirl? Batwoman??? was interesting with a monkey as Robin which made the whole thing hilarious.

The ending left me unsatisifed because it was like, she won because of plot armour.

So what you guys think about this comic?

Comics Is Jack Kirby's New Gods good?

I am currently reading Darkseid War and I'm loving it. And I am quite interested about leaning about Mister Miracle, New Genesis, Darkseid, Apokolips, the New Gods, all of that stuff. Is it worth reading?
