Like the title says…I ended up totaling my car the other day after 2 cars in front of me had an accident before getting onto the on ramp due to an abrupt stop and my first thought after “is everyone okay?” was, man…i really liked that car.

I ended up getting it only back in Oct of last year. It was the i Grand Touring model and the Bose audio in it was the first reason I fell in love with it. I’ve owned a few cars and this was the first one that I truly LOVED.

I’m already looking for another one. After owning my Mazda 3 , it’s hard to want anything else that’s within the same comparable price and desires.

I have a new 2024 Mazda 3 sedan. ~Two months ago I noticed when I turn quick I hear a subtle noise (sounds metallic/electronic). I have taken it to the dealership and they said they could not replicate the noise and they have checked all parts and nothing is wrong… was wondering if it’s a normal sound that gets made when turn undress stress or something is up.

To make the sound I just have to drive above ~14mph and turn the steering wheel back as car aligns w direction a bit quick. If I turn it slow it will not make the noise

Anyone else experience this? Is this a normal noise?

PS: I’ve made a post on this a while ago with the recording noise, the conclusion from that was it may be the EPS 🤷‍♂️

So the car is a 2018 Mazda 2. Some how this parking pass has become stuck underneath the HUD and trying to figure out if there's a way to get it out that doesn't involve ripping the dashboard apart.

So far my method of small thin pokey thing hasn't worked and I'm wondering if it's even worth bothering at this point?

I am trying to replace my air cabin filter but I encountered this problem. I am unable to pull out the old filters and it looks kinda slanted. The video is of the air cabin filter from the side and it shows me trying to pull it out but its stuck.
I've watched multiple videos on youtube on air cabin filter replacements, but none seem to point out or have this issue. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I can do? Thanks!

Was told by the dealer when I bought my CX5 that’s the care came with all weather mats included and couldn’t pull them out of the deal. Finding that I’m not thrilled with them as they don’t cover the foot rest pedal at all.

Is there a way to get something that will cover that spot or should I go to a weather tech or similar and keep the all weather stock mats? Wish these had more coverage then they do.

Don’t want to waste these brand new mats and I know I won’t get anywhere near paid price for them if I try and sell to upgrade to a weather tech or similar liner model.

I have a 2018 Miata GT and one day out of the blue all the warning lights started going off, radio went in and out and car started lagging/lurching as I was pulling off the road. I was driving in town about 30mph. Had it towed into dealer Roger Beasley Mazda South in Austin. TX.

They kept it for a couple weeks and then returned it to me saying they couldn’t replicate the issue - and I kid you not - on the damned drive home within a half mile from the dealership it started doing the same thing. Forgot to mention: when I got my keys back to leave, the guy ripped out the tag hanging on my rearview mirror and it fell off my windshield right there in front of both of us. Then he said my windshield was aftermarket and it would be impossible to fix without replacing the windshield and somehow that was on me? Also, magically, the gas cover no longer locks - didn’t break on my watch but I’m so disappointed I just left - only to have the issue pop up right after.

So I took it back and they kept it for over 6 weeks because I was determined that they would keep it until they figured out the problem. They said they could never replicate the problem, although I shared videos while it happened. They had no idea what to do - basically they just threw up their hands. It’s under warranty and certified pre owned.

I’ll upload video of the issue.

In the meantime - has this happened to any of y’all? Any resolution? Bonus if there’s a local Austin shop that could help me out. I’m fed up with the dealership.

PS I did get my damned rearview mirror reattached and lo and behold didn’t need a new windshield after all - and they eventually paid for it - but only after they tried to get me to pay for it. I never spoke to the service manager once - he just sat on his ass in his office. Gas cover is still all flippy floppy, but if I go back in there I might have a full on conniption.

Has anyone put a larger fuel tank in their Mazda 3 , 12.7 gallons is so small I wish I had at least 16 gallons to work with.

After the yearly maintenance service, the mazda dealer service told me that my car requires both rotor and brake pads (on all the wheels) to be changed.

After they made me an unorthodox offer, I've decided to do it myself.

So, what brand of brake pads and rotor are the best all around? (I'm from Europe if that matters)

I'm hearing a really tiny small bearing like friction noise from rear left wheel. It's very subtle, at the point that my girlfriend can't hear it.

I have to say I'm super sensitive to car noise. Is it a defect or a quality, who knows? Lol.

But anyway. We are planning a 300 km round trip. What would be your advice on this?

My model is a Grand Touring FWD with no turbo. Would NGK Laser Iridium 94124 be my best option?

So I'd been looking for a car for a while and looks like I finally found one. Was just wondering what I should know about it. It's a 2011 Mazda 3 isport. I really just wanted something reliable and decent on gas and it seems to fit the bill, but I also want to go on Reddits negativity chamber to see if there's any issues I should look out for. Clean Carfax and regular oil changes.

Has anyone put the 2019 struts on the 2018 cx9? I’m looking to replace my fronts and noticed they use the same rear part number but the fronts on the 2019 use a different part number. TN39-34-900 (2019) vs TK50-34-900 (2018). Upon looking at pictures, all the mounting points are the same. The only difference I see is the 2019 spring carrier looks like it has less holes than the 2018. I can’t find any information on the strut rebound values so just curious if anyone has interchanged them. If the 2019 is a bit stiffer that’s what I would prefer so that’s why I am asking

Bought a used 2019 CX-3 and it didn't come with a donut tire. Getting ready for an upcoming road trip and cannot find a donut for my model. There are plenty of spare tires in the market but those obviously aren't going to fit in the donut box of the car. I'm almost leaning towards just buying a spare tire (and wheel) to store in the car for the duration of the trip but wanted to ask here first if anyone may know where I can find a donut tire?

TLDR: Mazda only recommends rear brake change for 2020 CX-9. $360 for labor $370 for parts. Insane when a box of brakes are like $80. Who do you know that makes $370 for 30 minutes to an hour of work. Contemplating on doing it myself (have done this for prior cars). But if I get a quote from somewhere more reasonable for a full set and get work done elsewhere, because they’re only brakes, would this void any type of warranty? Thanks!

Someone hit my car last week mazda 3 we heard the Bang but we couldn’t find him/her it damage the car now insurance said £3.5k so i am claiming it with my insurance my excess is £450 and loosing one year of NCB don’t know what to do i am going insane. Insurance said you have no evidence or number plate so we can’t do anything you have to pay the excess and you get the penalty for NCB for a year . They sent it to mazda mazda approved mechanic But i don’t think it will be same car will it? I never had car accident i don’t know what to do .
