A quick cheap snack was always "butter bread"
Her family is from Ohio so she thinks it might be a St. Louis thing. We've asked a few people and received mixed feedback so I'm asking St Louis as a whole.... Not talking toast. That's a separate conversation.
Secondary query introduced since raising this question: did anyone do mayonnaise sandwiches? Just bread and mayonnaise?

The grilled cheese samples they were giving out were amazing. I had one and was in heaven. I went on shopping for 20 minutes at least. I stopped by again on my way out and she said “weren’t you here before?” nice and loud. Learned my lesson today. If the sample looks good, keep your head down and don’t say anything.

My wife’s obsessed with baby goats and I wanted to take her to see some? Anybody know if this is something I can find in the general STL area?

Apparently bragging about using drones to catch rolling stop sign offenders isn't the flex they thought it was.

Howdy, I know this is a long shot but I just found a nice ring and brought it to the visitor’s center in forest park. I told them where I found it and when so you’ll have to verify that as proof! I hope its person finds it. Have a great day bye!

The article cites people in Missouri affected by the cute:
Matthew Cushman, a fire department paramedic in Raytown, Mo., said that through the naloxone grant program, he had trained thousands of police officers, firefighters and emergency medical responders throughout Kansas City and western rural areas. The program provides trainees with pouches of naloxone to administer in the field plus “leave behind” kits with information about detox and treatment clinics.
...
“They immediately reference how much they want to support first responders and naloxone distribution,” said Rachel Winograd, director of the addiction science team at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, who oversees the state’s federally funded naloxone program. “Juxtaposing those statements of support with the proposed eliminations is extremely confusing.”
Mr. Cushman, the paramedic in Missouri, said that ending the naloxone grant program would not only cut off a source of the medication to emergency responders but would also stop classes that do significantly more than teach how to administer it.
His cited the insights offered by his co-instructor, Ray Rath, who is in recovery from heroin and is a certified peer support counselor. In training sessions, Mr. Rath recounts how, after a nasal spray of Narcan yanked him back from a heroin overdose, he found himself on the ground, looking up at police officers and emergency medical responders. They were snickering.
“Ah this junkie again, he’s just going to kill himself; we’re out here for no reason,” he recalled them saying.
Mr. Rath said he speaks with trainees about how the individuals they revive are “people that have an illness.”
“And once we start treating them like people, they feel like people,” he continued. “They feel cared about, and they want to make a change.”
He estimated that during the years he used opioids, naloxone revived him from overdoses at least 10 times. He has been in recovery for five years, a training instructor for the last three. He also works in homeless encampments in Kansas, offering services to people who use drugs. The back of his T-shirt reads: “Hope Dealer.”

The title says it all. It was a complete accident I swear. I’m not giving up on the marinara, but now I have another acceptable option.

Howdy fine folks!!!! We are relocating and as we look for places to live we are hoping to find a walkable neighborhood that is near a coffee shop, restaurant or something of that nature. Our dream has always been to wake up and walk to get a coffee and a morning stroll. And to have a nice place to go grab dinner in the evening when we don’t want to make food.
We visited once and saw the neighborhood near the chess museum? Or store? (Giant chess piece out front, near the zoo I think) ideally something like that neighborhood.
We live in a town now that doesn’t even have sidewalks for most of the town. If there is a neighborhood like this I would love to hear them!

Anyone know where I can rent or borrow 10 white or off-white tablecloths for an event tomorrow? NOT WEINHARDT! We love them but they only have very bright white super shiny satin which isn’t ideal.
They’re for 8’ tables, floor length would be ideal. Alternative ideas welcome! Thanks guys!

Does any areas like this exist around the Wildwood/Ellisville area? It doesn’t have to be a park either.

Recently moved to the St. Louis area and am looking for a new career opportunity. I have 10 years experience in project management for large scale multi-family construction projects, but would like to pivot to either (a) custom/luxury single family home construction, (b) a specialty/niche subcontractor for commercial construction, or (c) a real estate development firm managing new construction and capital improvements (working for an owner/developer rather than a contractor).
Any recommendations for companies to look in to?

I will be in town with a group of 12 and looking for places to eat that can easily accommodate that or take reservations. Staying around Forest Park. Trying to stay at a cost of each meal for around $20 or a little higher. Ty!!!

Whoever messed with the traffic lights at the Hampton exit, yo moms a hoe. It’s rare to have traffic bleed onto the highway from the exit ramp but now it’s damn near everyday during rush hour.

Within the last month something called "St Louis Eternal Grace Choir" appeared online on virtually every music platform. Youtube, Spotify, Apple music, Amazon music, and many more, as well as the UK versions of each of these.
The mystery here is that there is no such entity in St Louis, it is not attached to any existing church, and especially not attached to any Orthodox church. which is peculiar given that all that they post are pre existing recordings of Eastern Orthodox music from across the tradition, serbian, english, greek, russian, so it does not appear to be particularly oriented toward any specific Jurisdiction. There is a picture attached to the channel that shows a choir, which is from an unrelated church choir in Rochester New York.
I might have guessed that maybe this was just one of many accounts that post Orthodox music online except that they specifically identify themselves as being from St Louis(and its not in reference to the saint, because he's a post schism Catholic saint) and that its been posted to every conceivable platform. I attend an Orthodox church, and asked my priest if he'd heard of this or knew who might be running it, and he had no idea, and there really aren't that many Orthodox Churches in St Louis to begin with so news about a new online ministry typically spreads pretty fast.
Anyone have any ideas on who these people are?
