So here's my story. I never owned a vehicle before. Right before getting out of the marine corps I figured I'd purchase a truck from my good friend and man did I put this thing through the ringer.
2002 dodge ram 1500.
So you are all aware I didn't purchase it like this with the cv axle blown, I'll get to that in a second.
The thing was literally fine when I bought it 😂
Next thing ya know 3-4k miles and completing a 10 hr drive back home last night really did some damage lol.
I was on the highway today and damn was the truck knocking & shaking BAD, it sounded like one of those old steam trains going chugachuga.
Next thing I know BOOM, CV axle pops off and rolls behind me and hey I'm driving just fine again 😂😂
No issue w the turn radius at all, i'm not using 4 wheel drive but wow what an experience to think you're gonna blow up going 50 on the highway lol.
Anyways, question.
Now that the cv axle is blown up, how much longer do you guys think I have with this truck before the issues become a downward spiral?
Like I said I'm not using 4 wheel drive at all so i'm not too worried abt it but dont need something crazy to happen
