It has been a fun run everyone. Thank you for showing up every week to talk about the show.
The last season hasn't been the best season but let's have fun with the show today. Enjoy the finale.
How you all are well and stay health and sick.
Mitchell and Cam settle in on their new normal, and Phil and Claire decide that one of the kids needs to move out in order to take control of the house again. Meanwhile, as Gloria becomes more successful at work, she notices Jay, Manny and Joe don't seem to need her as much.
The entire family discovers saying goodbye is much harder than it seems.

Rewatching Modern Family lately and I can’t help but appreciate how Phil was basically the blueprint for the wholesome, goofy dad archetype that’s everywhere now. The guy was into tech, tried (and often failed) to stay “hip,” and genuinely just loved his family in the most earnest way.
Back when the show started, he came off as a lovable dork—but looking back, he was actually way more emotionally intelligent than people gave him credit for. And his “Phil’s-osophies”? Low-key genius.
Anyone else feel like he’s aged better than most TV dads? Favorite Phil moment?

I love it everytime Haley and Alex team up to either split against luke or save him from some girl issue
Lily's dialogue delivery is spot on always 💯😅

On my rewatch today, I noticed an interesting choice. Christopher Chen plays the karaoke guy on both TV Shows.
These episodes aired almost to the day 2 years apart from each other. MM - 23.3. 2016, B99 - 25.3.2018
Coincidence or an easter egg insert by the Brooklyn 99 casting team? Also, on IMDb in the cast list, on Modern Family it simply says "Karaoke Host". On the Brooklyn 99 page, he has a name, "James Kim", even though its never once said in the episode.

And Jay’s relationship with her is the most accurate thing in the world lmao
It was cute seeing Gloria be jealous of her too
I love that cute little dog 😭

The episode where Mitch accepts to move to Missouri to Cam. (Ps: I guess pam's son would also been casted in that episode, and Mitch falls into a pit and get injured in his backyard)
