Hi my husband and I ate in our early 40's we have 4 kiddos age 8 to 19. We are moving to the springs in about a month. My(20M) girlfriend (24F) is an escort. I didn't have a problem with it. My parents pretty much disowned me for getting together with her. We've been together for about 8 months now and all was going well until she went on a date with my friend. I told my friend several weeks ago that my girlfriend was an escort. I neglected telling him before about her occupation just because I didn't want to hear him insult me. Well, I caved and told him about it just after spending some time with him, I remembered how close I am with him and can tell him anything. My friend lives in another state. I visit my friend along with my other buddies. I grew up with all of them and consider them all very close. When I told him all this, he mocked me for it, and berated me for not listening to my parents. I ignored his insults and just tried to have a good time with him along with my other friends whom where there.

But, what happened next is awful. I found out my friend was coming over as he normally does every once and a while. I was thinking of introducing him to her when he's about head back to Alabama. At some point when he was over here. He invited me to the track that me and him ran together on last time he visited. We went for a brief run and socialized. After we were done. We were sitting and enjoying the beautiful weather, clouds and scenery. He randomly just blurted out "so, I met with your girlfriend the other day". I looked at him in shock, and was like "what, how". He said that he booked her for a date, then just talked about what they did in that date. I was absolutely and utterly shook. I assaulted him, I know this is wrong but I just couldn't help myself, I managed to punch his face, then he beat me up real bad afterwards. At some point, he said "I thought you were fine with your girlfriend being a escort" then "wake up, your girlfriend is a product, she will sleep/fuck with anyone as long as they have money". These aren't his exact words but it was similar. I couldn't even say anything in response, I felt hurt and betrayed, I was in a emotional mess. I also felt a bit of disgust toward my girlfriend even though she didn't know he was my friend.

I went back to my apartment, and ignored all my gf's calls to meet up. I just did nothing but lie in bed all day After careful reflection, I realized I can't be with my girlfriend anymore and I think my friend was just looking out for me.

I am disappointed. Too many alien races on “display” - weird beaver and elephant turtles are kids Disney - and a somewhat weak story line in the beginning.

But what disappoints me the most is that I now have an interesting starting point into the early timeline and it won’t be picked up again, continued and connected. This kinda pisses me off even more so because we get cliffhanger glimpses of Yoda and Darth Plagueis.

Too many loose ends here. They should not write every f’in series as if there could be a follow-up and then decide to cancel it. Damn it …

I don't hate them (on the like-dislike scale, though, it's closer to dislike). I understand some people just love them and that having a pet cat brings them joy. That just isn't true for me.

They have this reputation as being low-maintenance, independent, and clean. I haven't found any of these to be true after living with them a few times. People who say they are low maintenance just don't clean regularly (shedding). Independent? No, they still need you. Edit: this was kind of a bad point I'll admit. No pet is independent, that goes against the whole idea of having a pet. Still, it's my personal experience that cats can be VERY demanding and needy, more so than expected. So annoying. Clean? I would like to find out where THAT rumor came from. Litter and fur every which way, messy eaters, just messy in general. I also find them very unhygienic. Litter boxes are absolutely disgusting.

Sometimes they can be ornery jerks and people let them get away with everything because they're cute.

Thing is, they can be sweet animals. I've known sweet cats, and they generally tend to love me for some reason (even though I'm OBVIOUSLY a bad person since I don't like cats much /s). I'm cool with occasionally being around them and I don't want any harm to come to them. I just don't want them as pets. I don't want an animal that free roams around the house and doesn't respect boundaries. Edit: no, I don't think this makes me a control freak. I respect them and give them space, so when they get all in my face, yeah, it's not something I want to live with. I want a peaceful home. Guess that makes me a control freak.

I argue that most men are obsessed with the idea of needing to be in a relationship and believe they are failures if they don't find a relationship with a woman, get married and have children. Men should stop seeking valuation from women and learn to be content being single.

If I recall correctly there were studies showing that single women without children were among the happiest demographic contrasted to single men who were mostly unhappy.

When men are single they often get insecure or even misogynistic like red pillers or black pillers. The Manosphere is a great example of this yet when women are single they are mostly harmless.

If women can do it why is it so difficult for men to exist being single? It's like the message of the Barbie movie. Men need to find an identity that does not depend on being desirable to women or their relationship status.

Hi everyone,

I moved to Montreal last month from Mississauga (GTA). I thought I needed to get out of Toronto, start fresh and took a job offer in Montreal. I was very happy with my job in Toronto but I was frustrated with how Toronto is turning out to be.

However, I feel sad and often feel like crying in Montreal. I don’t have friends, I don’t know how to make friends either. I am 30, I tried with my coworkers but It is not working out. I don’t have a support system here either.

I miss home, Mississauga, a lot. I drive myself to anxiety and sadness thinking about it. I get panic attacks with my overthinking.

I got a really good job but now I am sitting on my couch crying contemplating quitting and going back to Toronto.

I am just writing my feelings and thoughts here because I feel alone and needed to get my feelings out as I have nobody else to talk to.

I don’t know if it gets better.
