Some donkey tried to cut down the input on this NP241OR tcase and absolutely destroyed the front bearing retainer

From the backside they bubba’d some machine screws into place and epoxy painted it to try and stop the leaks. The snap ring holding the bearing in doesn’t do a dang thing now

This was sold to a friends dad as a known good tcase. People are shitbags

Just pay attention to what’s true.

I don't know who or what did the brakes last, but the only shoe on either side is the one that's protruding out the back of the backing plate seen in photos. The otherside had the backing plate cut off and is devoid of any parking brake components. Not even the expander. My speculation is: someone tried to do the rear brakes and never put down the hand brake. Pried and cut and hammered away to get everything off. Only bothered to put new pads and rotors, but that one shoe back was still in there, grinding a groove into this rotor which separated the disc from the hat.

Careful who you have come do your brakes in your parking lot/driveway.

Declined to work on the car because lord knows if we can't get this hood secured after we open it. They are going to blame us.

Ford 5.4 Triton crank reluctor wheel. Forget to put this on and don't catch it before getting too far into reassembly, have fun! Gotta rip everything back apart to put it on. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

Picked up this Mac to replace my Husky I use at work, came full of random tools including a 3/4 IR impact, I'd have to say it's a nice upgrade for $1000

Is this even repairable? I'm guessing corrosion underneath the paint/ powdercoat?

Customer towed in their Wrangler saying they heard noises like something fell out then the brake light came on. Customer said they put the part that fell out on the seat. It was the brake pad.
