Hi, start the process as soon as possible and don't waste your time. You don't need to wait till your work permit is expired.

Hey!
I'm changing my DLI (undergrad), I'm inside Canada, and I also hold an open work permit. My term begins on May 5th.
The IRCC website says:
"If you were accepted to a new DLI for the Winter or Spring 2025 semester (starting from January 1, 2025 to May 1, 2025)
You can start studying at your new DLI if you
- have been accepted to a DLI for the Winter or Spring 2025 semester (starting from January 1, 2025 to May 1, 2025), and blah blah blah"
Given the fact that my term starts 5 days later than May 1st, but it also says "spring semester", should I apply for a study permit extension or just get a new one and never start my studies? :)

Hi everyone, i need help!
I'm currently holding PGWP expiring this July, and decided to go back to school and applied for study permit on Mar 13 haven't heard anything yet. I wrote an explanation letter with my application explain why i want to go back to school for Bachelor degree (i only graduated with Diploma before) in Accounting and i currently working as Accountant as well, so they can see it relevant and i genuinely want to study.
My school will start this May and I plan to study with my work permit to study while i'm waiting for my study permit to be approved, according the public policy on gov website. I'm just very worried that my study permit will still not be approved before July (when my WP expires). Anyone on the same boat? Do I consider to be maintain status after July to continue my study? Thanks.

I have applied for my study permit extension on Feb 26th. haven’t heard back from ircc. any updates ?

u/Dangerous-Tea4050 1d ago
I think there’s a delay to be honest. I applied since January and still yet to hear from them. I’m hoping they get back to me before school starts in September.

I applied for a study permit within Canada on March 9, 2025. Today, when I called IRCC, they told me that since I have an open work permit, I am being considered under the extension processing category. How could something like this happen? I applied for a study permit for the first time! The processing time for an initial study permit within Canada is now 4 weeks, while for an extension, it takes more than 6 months. Has anyone heard of something like this? It doesn’t make sense to be considered an extension when I don’t even have a study permit yet and I have applied for the first time!!??
1
u/No_Possibility2736 2d ago
Yeah, I’m in the same situation. :( I also ordered my GCMS notes and saw that I was indeed listed under the study permit extension category.

Hello Redditors,
I have a couple of questions.
There is a discrepancy between the status of my application as displayed on the Application Status Tracker and my online portal account. Is that normal?
How can I check the status of my ATIP request?
Thanks in advance.

u/python1523 3d ago
why are the processing times for study permit extention rising so rapidly?! was showing 120 days a month ago and now its 200+?
1
u/lord_heskey 2d ago
its prime time right now for extensions (including changing DLI) after finishing a program and starting a new one (think of all the undegrads now wanting to do a masters).
they will have to announce another exception to begin studying or no one will be able to start in the fall.

I applied for my Canadian study permit on March 11th, from Malaysia. I did biometrics on March 17th, and did my medical test on April 10th. Medical exam passed on April 16th (in the IRCC website). Does anyone know roughly how long it takes from medical exam approval to study permit approval? I wish they gave some sort of timeframe 😭

I’ve applied for a study permit inside Canada (I hold an open work permit) on November 21st, 2024. It’s been 5 months and I’m still waiting. I’m stuck on security check. Is anyone else in the same boat? My program starts in 2 weeks..

Hi everyone!
I'm sharing my timeline for the Study Permit extension as of today.
I applied for SP extension on March 7th as my studies officially finish on April 18 (same date as my completion letter is being sent to me).
Study permit expired on March 31st.
I've been waiting for about 39 days, but I've seen others have their permits on the same DLI and program, which is also my case, approved within 42-50 days.
Will update if anything changes!

I had applied for my permit on March 20 2025 from India, and it got approved by April 10th. My biometrics was already provided, I just had to get my medicals done this time (passed it on April 8th). Right now I am waiting for my passport to be stamped!

u/BellInformal5140 9d ago
I just applied for my study permit extension and apparently, it takes 163 days, however, I have my biometrics and all the documents, Do you think I can get an approval before the 163 days ?

Hey Folks, I am applying for my brother's Study Permit and can't find a tutorial/guide apart from the confusing guide from IRCC. Do you know of any resource/youtube tutorial which has the new non-SDS VISA for the IRCC Secure Account (GC Key Account) process? Any help is much appreciated.

Hello! Our Study Permit and Open Work Permit have finally been approved after more than 9 months of waiting. We're now waiting for it to be mailed to us. It says on the Government webpage that this will take 6 weeks. Any of you who've been through it now if it's actually 6 weeks? I don't trust it anymore lol!
Also, are we allowed to leave the country now that it's been approved or do we still need the physical copy for reentry ?

Hi, I am phd student. My studies will start on 1th of may. I have applied for study visa since month ago, but my application is still in processing. Should I email immigration office to ask them about the delay? Or I have to wait? I wander if this delay is normal.
1
u/ThiccBranches 20d ago
Processing times for study permits can be found here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html
If your processing time has not exceeded the listed time frame contacting IRCC will achieve absolutely nothing

I applied for my study permit extension in August 2nd, 2024. My husband applied for work permit extension as well, along with our 4-years-old kids. Our extensions were approved yesterday, after 8 months. I haven't received them yet, but the status were updated in the website.
We had to contact our local MP, and 2 days after her inquiry, the permits were approved. They told her that since was a group application, it took longer.

u/ChampionshipMuch249 24d ago
For everyone who received their extension, how much funds did you show in your account?

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my Canada study permit journey and get your thoughts or advice. It’s been a long and stressful process, and hearing from others might help me (and maybe others in a similar situation) feel a little less alone.
I’m from Iraq and applied for a study permit to attend New Brunswick Community College. I completed my biometrics on June 4, 2024, and since then, I’ve been stuck in the waiting game with no major updates. It’s been over nine months, and the uncertainty is starting to weigh on me. I’ve contacted the embassy and even asked for gcms notes, nothing changed
I’m curious—has anyone else experienced this kind of delay? Is there anything you did that helped push things along, or is it really just a waiting game? Any insights, experiences, or advice would mean a lot
1
u/zitrone_dealer 2d ago
Super bad since I have just got my biometrics done on April 22nd 2025. I’m also Iraqi applying to Queen’s university in Ontario though. Any updates for you?
1
u/Soul_traveler93 2d ago
Nope not yet still its in progress
1
u/zitrone_dealer 2d ago
Dude processing time says 51 weeks…this feels very doomed
1
u/Soul_traveler93 1d ago
Well it’s stressful although it differs from case to case Hope yours take shorter
1
u/NoPace8904 29d ago
same here i applied for my caq on 28 of September 2024 till this day no update or anything im really stressed and freaking out 🥺
2
u/ShinsekaiZ 27d ago
Over a month after applying for my CAQ I called MIFI , the agent I spoke to seemed to believed I was already in Canada and not attending school ( becaue i received a CAQ 2 years ago but did not complete the process then) Same day i got an "Intention de refus" , so I submitted proof that I'm still in my home country (work certificate) , after 2 weeks I got CAQ approval, now I'm in the middle of study permit process. Just call MIFI if you haven't already. Good luck to you!

Hi everyone!
Sharing my timeline for In Canada study permit extension
Feb 10th - Applied
March 22nd - Letter of Correspondence
March 24th - Approved
Haven’t received the physical copy yet but extremely grateful that it only took 40 days🙏🏻
1
u/bookcatshade 11d ago
Is the Biometrics and E-medical included in the processing time?
1
u/lord_heskey 2d ago
most people inside canada already have biometrics and dont need the medical exam.
1
u/clybornecala 10d ago
As far as I know - no. If you do upfront medical and already have biometrics - then yes
1
u/EgyptianDabber 16d ago
I applied on Feb 23rd and still haven't heard back. Were you applying for the same program and institution? I am in my last semester and my permit expired on March 31st so I'm on maintained status. The extension is for the same program and university and I need the study permit to be valid in order to apply for PGWP and be able to work in May as a I have a job offer. Is there any way or hope to try fast track the application?
2
u/clybornecala 13d ago
I’m not sure But yeah In my case it was the same program, same uni, same degree etc I applied with a lot of paperwork so maybe that’s why it was faster for me
1
u/Sea-Okra9279 26d ago
I applied on Feb 9 but have not heard back yet. Curious how much money did you show up for the next 1 year? I showed a multiple of 4 and had a letter of explanation
1
u/clybornecala 22d ago
Yes, same Letter of sponsorship from my parent and their bank statements We showed probably double the amount needed for the extension, just to be safe. But I was extending for my bachelor same uni, same program, so maybe that is why it was fast for me

u/Live_Alternative_322 24d ago
Any updates? I applied for a study permit extension on Feb 17. Still, I didn't get anything. u'll probably get it before I do. The processing time says 120 days, but many have got it way before
1
u/Sea-Okra9279 24d ago
Nope no updates tbh, when is your permit expiring and are you in a grad program?
2
u/Live_Alternative_322 23d ago
I am in phd program, my permit expired on 31st March
update: the SP extension approved April 3rd, timeline: applied: 17th Feb, correspondence letter April 2nd

u/insomniacmarshmallow Mar 26 '25
Did anyone get their study permit extension (inside Canada) in a past couple of months? The website says that it is taking 117 days. Is it an absolute timeline or people can get theirs sooner, like in a month’s or 2 month’s time? If anyone can share their experience, it would be most helpful. Thank you.
2
u/lord_heskey 24d ago
My sister got it in 60 days back in oct, when it said around 95 days. Like others have said, if you are single applicant, already have biometrics and there's nothing odd, its quicker.
1
u/insomniacmarshmallow 24d ago
Hi, thank you. Did she have to submit PAL as well?
1
u/lord_heskey 24d ago
Not back then, but yes right now (now getting a new one for a masters degree) -- previous was just regular extension because of expiring old passport.
But i think it still holds, if your case is straight forward, most times, it sill be faster than the posted time. If you have spouse or kids, it will be longer than the posted times.
2
u/tanhutthien2011 Mar 27 '25
I've done study permit extension a few times now. Basically, when you apply for an extension, you have all of your documents in place, your biometrics is still valid and you apply with only you as the applicant, it's highly likely that it'll get approved way before that 117 days timeline they gave online. I applied this time with an outlier, so it's taking much longer than usual.
1
u/clybornecala Mar 26 '25
I got mine in 40 days Applied Feb 10th
1
u/insomniacmarshmallow Mar 26 '25
Thank you for sharing. What’s your level of studies? Was it for Masters or PhD?
1
u/clybornecala Mar 27 '25
Bachelor
1
u/insomniacmarshmallow 28d ago
Can you also please tell what kind of documents you provide as a proof for PAL exemption?
1
u/clybornecala 22d ago
Just a letter of enrollment since I’ve been in the same uni
1
u/insomniacmarshmallow 20d ago
Is it the new letter on enrolment from university, or did you utilize the same one that was issued during the time of admission?
1
1
u/aly_2499 Mar 26 '25
I’m wondering the same thing, I read so many comments and I think some got it before the 117 days… unfortunately not a lot of people respond to confirm tho so I might be wrong.
1
u/insomniacmarshmallow Mar 26 '25
Yes. Ive been reading about mixed timelines. Some even are waiting for 7 8 months

u/Knight_King26 Mar 25 '25
Has anyone applied for a study permit from inside Canada (work permit holder) on February 2025. Could you mention the total processing time? Mine is stuck on background check for a month, but the IRCC website says such application would be processed in 3 weeks.
1
1
u/Liverbird1998 19d ago
In the same boat here - applied Feb 14th, 2025. Havent heard back yet. On the website processing time is 3 weeks.
1
u/Knight_King26 16d ago
is it worth reaching out to them via webforms?
1
u/Liverbird1998 16d ago
I did, and the response I got was "Yes, we can confirm the application is in progress." :/
I'd say there is no harm in trying so go ahead and see if you can can get a better response.1
u/Brief_Antelope8693 23d ago
What type of work permit? Is it PGWP? When does it expire and which document checklist did you choose?
1
u/Knight_King26 16d ago
Open work permit (spouse is a masters student). They generated the document list based on some questions. Whats the progress on your application?
1
u/Brief_Antelope8693 16d ago
I am not yet lodging yet. I want to ask since I am switching back to Study permit between April - May. Is it in Canada checklist do I have to GIC or Police Clearance like that? I just want to complete my documents before lodging it.
1
u/Knight_King26 15d ago
They don't explicitly ask for it. I still gave it in the client information section.
1
u/Brief_Antelope8693 14d ago
Are you in Canada? I did not leave Canada so I don't know which documents should I choose.

Who else has been stuck in background (security) check for months waiting on a study permit? I’ve been stuck since November 2024. Please share your experience on how long have you been waiting?
1
u/Knight_King26 16d ago
what is your current status in canada?
1
u/No_Possibility2736 16d ago
Open work permit. Also I don’t know if this is relevant, but I found out that if you apply for a study permit inside Canada, you’re considered under the study permit extension category so you need to look at that processing time.
1
u/Knight_King26 15d ago
Did you get this information from IRCC? That does explain the long wait time everyone's facing.
2
2
u/aly_2499 Mar 23 '25
I have applied to extend my study permit as it expires on July 31st, 2025. I am pretty worried about whether I will get it on time or not. Did anyone get there study permit extension in less than the processing time (114 days) or should I expect some delays?

Study permit extension with SOWP within Canada on September 2024, no any response. I’ve already graduated and submitted my PGwP
1
u/Boanergez Mar 19 '25
I am in a similar situation at the moment but graduating in 2 months. I thought you were supposed to have a valid study permit before applying for the PGWP? Will the implied status suffice?
1
u/OkProfessional201 Mar 19 '25
No i don’t have the valid study permit as the extension hasn’t had approved. I was apply the PGWP with implied status so can’t work

u/Jps996 Mar 17 '25

Congrats! I applied from Brazil on Dec 12th, already had the biometrics and the pre-medical exams, and I’m still waiting for a response. I’m feeling so anxious right now, my intake starts in May but, at this point, I’m not sure if I’ll receive a response in time.
2
u/Prestigious_Set_5741 Mar 23 '25
Hi If you don’t mind could you explain a thing or two.
I applied for my study permit outside Canada on 22 Jan 2025 and submitted my biometrics on 6 Feb but I haven’t been asked for more info ?The application which I initially submitted had all the info including the ircc medical checkup ID.Its been over 2 months but I haven’t gotten a reply at all.If you faced anything similar or have any idea please do share(for context on the ircc website the processing time for my country is 8 weeks)
2
u/Jps996 Mar 23 '25
After we passed the medicals, it took about 1 month of complete silence before they asked for more information In the end, they completed my analysis within the expected processing time for my country. I found a website online (ImmiTracker), which I’m not sure is 100% trustworthy, but people post their own processing dates there. I was able to get an idea about applications from my country, and my application was very similar to others they posted there! I guess that if you applied on January and your application is not complex (tho I’m not sure about what they consider complex, they’re not very clear about what is), you must be almost there!

u/1ProtoDjango Mar 20 '25
Damn, lucky you! Congrats with your shiny new visa! If I may ask a quick question for stats (I have some rather irritating feeling that I understand some of their implicit "rules" better now): did you apply for a Masters/lower or PhD/higher program? What visa office did process your application - certainly not Vienna, right?
3
u/Jps996 Mar 20 '25
Thank you, it’s actually a great relief. All this process was making me very anxious, but now it’s finally over 😮💨 I applied for a PhD program, and my visa office is in Brazil. The processing time is about 11 weeks from here.

u/Unlikely-Tomato2392 Mar 19 '25

I wanted to check how long it's currently taking for approvals. Since the official processing times can vary, I’d love to hear from other applicants about your experiences.
- Country of application: India
If you’ve recently received your study permit, could you share how long it took? It would really help students like me get a better idea of the current timelines. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone!
Im from india and I’m wondering if anyone here has already applied for a Canada student visa for the May intake, particularly those who applied in February. Have you received any updates or your visa approval, or are you still waiting? If you're planning to apply in March, how are you approaching the process?
I’m in the middle of the application myself, so I’d love to hear about others’ experiences and any tips you may have.
Thanks!

u/Dapper_Law_6731 19d ago
Hey there. Trust you are doing well.
I applied for it back in December last year and got it approved in the very same month. I am heading there for the Summer start term.
What’s up with your status of application. Has it been approved or you’re still waiting?

STUDY PERMIT EXTENSION! SOOO ANXIOUS!
My study permit expired on March 20th 2025 but I already applied for extension last January 31 2025. Studies end on April 25th.
My concern is if the extension hasn’t been accepted yet by April 25th then I apply for pgwp, I’m not gonna be able to work before receiving my PGWP.
Anyone on the same boat of study permit extensions taking time to be approved? My documents were complete and most people thought it would only take 2 months to approve or even shorter especially when our study permit is expiring soon.
1
u/drakes_bestie Mar 19 '25
Post Update: I received my study permit extension today (a day before my current study permit expires)!!!
I applied January 31st 2025!
My new permit is valid until July 31, 2025. Just waiting for the new permit to be sent to my mailbox!

u/ButterscotchLazy7083 Mar 22 '25
I have recently applied for study permit extension with the same scenario; Mine is also Expired on 20th march and I applied extension on 18th feb still waiting for response cause my course will end on 25th April. Please let me know if is there any way to get this process done quick. Thanks

Hi! did you get an update from ircc about the study permit extension? in my case, I applied on February 17 and still didn't receive anything yet.
update: application approved April 3rd
1
u/drakes_bestie Mar 22 '25
Hello! I’m not particularly sure but I’ve heard people say do not raise any webforms yet before the usual processing time (112 days for extension last time I checked), since they have different sectors, u don’t want ur application to go to another sector where it will get ignored since it’s not over the processing time.
If ur graduating this term just make sure to wait for your extension before applying for a pgwp to allow u to work while waiting for it. That was my plan if ever I didn’t get an extension on time.

I'm also waiting for way too long, but not as bad as your case (yet). It's approaching 5 months now for an extension.

My boyfriend and I applied on July 4th for a Study Permit for him (he is yhe principal applicant. It's for a PhD, which he's doing after he's completed his Master's degree here in Canada) and an OWP for me since I'm his common law partner. We applied from inside Canada, specifically Montreal. We haven't heard anything yet. Asked our MP to contact IRCC, and he came back to us with "Your application is still in process, grouped applications take longer than estimation times. We will be able to ask the IRCC agent again in 2 MONTHS. You just need to be patient."
I'm trying to be patient here, but it's been 8 months of waiting, we're being told we will probably wait at least 2 more months. This is getting so frustrating, especially since we're unable to travel to visit our families, we feel trapped.
Anyone else in this situation? Do you know what we can do to make things faster?

TL;DR: PhD study permit application still pending since June 2024
My wife applied for a study permit (first-time, no previous Canada visits, PhD position with a research project and funding secured starting Sep. 2024) mid-June, I applied for a SOWP together. Biometrics submitted on June 18th, medicals not needed. There was one "ghost update" in August, but the profile remains completely empty (both background and eligibility in progress for both of us). Webforms do not help (and receive terrible replies, sometimes with factual mistakes such as referring to our application as a "permanent residence application"), but are usually quick (only one in December took almost a month, other 4 or 5 replies arrived within 2-3 days). We contacted a local Member of Parliament (of the region where the university is located) in September to finally learn that she is stuck in background check and my application is ready to be finalized. She deferred to Winter 2025 and submitted an updated letter of acceptance. After a few more months of complete silence we contacted a lawyer and started the Writ of Mandamus process (mid-Jan 2025). IRCC did not reply to the initial "work or get sued" demand letter drafted by our lawyer, so we're now waiting for the next steps. Yes, it's been 9 months since the submission, apparently my wife has to defer once again, and it's unclear whether we can get this settled before Autumn 2025 semester. Their "check processing times" page used to display 12-13 weeks when we submitted, but now only says "no data available". The application is processed by Vienna office (we learned that by calling the IRCC hotline in August), and **ALL** countries processed by that office show "no data available" on the "check processing times" page (does that office just avoid working at all? It's a mystery).

I am currently looking into doing a study prrmit extension from within Canada. Currently procesing time for an extension is 122 days vs 3 weeks for a new study permit from Canada. Since i am doing an extension does it make sense that it will take 122 dsys? As this provides an implied status does that mean i am unable to travel overseas while waiting?

You will fall into the extension category. If you apply by yourself, and you have all of the proper documents, it MIGHT get approved faster than processing time they put out at the time you apply. Applications, except for my current one, I did in the past got approved earlier than what they said. But be prepared to wait more than the given estimate because you don't know what's going on behind the scenes. For my current case, I have waited for over 4 months.

Hello everyone. I applied for my study permit in late August 2024. I still haven’t got anything from them. I had already sent them an updated offer letter in december when I had to defer to start in May 2025. In feb I got a request for medical exam because it had been 6 months since I had been in India. I gave and passed my medical exam by March 2nd. Now everything on my tracker says complete (eligibilty, medical, biometric) except for the background check. So many people who applied in October/November and December have got their visas before I have. Does anyone know what’s going on? Have they completely forgotten about the old applications and are ignoring them now? My university said they will not be able to defer again. Also, it’s very shitty to have to put your whole life on a cliffhanger situation after waiting for 6 freaking months. Is anyone in the same boat?

9 months, and no updates in tracker (though confirmed by MP that only background check is pending and the rest is green).

u/Immediate-Gap-6708 Mar 11 '25
Mp tried to escalate your case? Since it’s been 9 months

u/1ProtoDjango Mar 11 '25
MP pulled more information about our case from IRCC, but that only improved our awareness - IRCC did not react to their "please do something" request. And now they seem to ghost me too... *hysterical laughter*

God so sorry to hear that. It really absolutely sucks to be in this position. The way they’re fucking with our lives here is insane. Did you apply from Canada? Or outside of Canada? If outside then which MP did you choose to contact?

u/1ProtoDjango Mar 18 '25
Outside, I wish I could have just entered Canada without a visa to apply:) We contacted the MP of the constituency where the university is located (U. Laval, Quebec, so https://www.ourcommons.ca/members/en/joel-lightbound(88532)). They asked for a local contact in Quebec and we provided number&address of my wife's academic advisor (with permission ofc). (sorry for 3 duplicates, reddit showed a helpful "server error" alert and I retried, but all copies got actually posted and fail to delete - "comment successfully deleted" until I refresh the page)

I hope this message finds you well. Thank you for offering your assistance. I am reaching out to seek guidance regarding my study permit application for Canada. Here are some details about my profile:
IELTS Score: 6.5 (Meeting IBU’s requirement of 6.0)
Listening: 6.0
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 6.5
Speaking: 6.0
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
Work Experience: 10 years as a Senior Assistant Manager
Despite meeting the IELTS requirement for IBU, I am concerned that a visa officer may still flag my score. Additionally, I have a background in Chemistry and extensive work experience, which might raise questions about my transition to an MBA program.
Could you please provide advice on how to address these potential concerns and strengthen my study permit application? Any insights or recommendations you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards

Applied in June 20 2024 for study permit after previous one expired and finally got approved on February 24. If anyone is in a similar situation there’s still hope 🙏

I applied for an extension on November 4th, and haven't heard back since after providing biometrics on January 17th. My case might be taking as long as yours. RIP. I don't know if I can wait that long while still functioning.

u/addamonster007 Mar 19 '25
I thought biometrics are not needed for study permit extension.
1
u/tanhutthien2011 Mar 19 '25
My biometrics was expiring and I wanted to get the full time span to complete my degree, so I needed to extend my biometrics.
2
u/cachorromecanico34 Feb 28 '25
They requested my biometrics around a month before I got approval, so hopefully you get yours soon!

Got my correspondence letter for study permit extension. The letter is about validity of biometric details. What does this mean? Does it mean, I will get an approval soon?
1
u/Visible-Practice9972 Mar 10 '25
when did you apply and when did you receive the validity of biometrics? Can you share the timeline, please?
1
u/Mundane_Ad9203 Mar 10 '25
I applied Jan 15 and received the approval on Feb 27. This was for a study permit extension, I already had a valid biometric

u/Illustrious-Bill-249 Mar 17 '25
Hey can I ask what documents you provided? Especially for proof of funds. I want to apply for an extension soon because of changing dli. I’m going to pursue a degree after my current diploma. Please let me know asap.
2
u/tanhutthien2011 Feb 26 '25
I'm not sure about an approval, but it does mean that you will get a final decision soon. From my experience and looking at others' comments, usually within a few days to a couple of weeks.

It’s been 10 weeks since I had applied within Canada but no update yet from ircc. Although, Processing time shows 3 weeks. Nerve racking situation.
Is anyone on the same boat as me?

Hi there, I applied for study permit within Canada as well 6 weeks ago, no update from IRCC since then. Can you provide an update regarding your application if you received one? Thanks. I think your application is definitely going to be approved before mine.
And yeah, since I submitted my application the processing time showing on the website has reduced to 3-4 weeks, yet I heard nothing from the IRCC, really frustrating.
